To be honest the kids ready, everyone knows that. To keep developing he needs to take that next step. I don't think anyone in the know is truly shocked, we have a potential blue chipper coming in, we're going to be just fine.
Schloss finds out like the rest of us. Two different reputable sources posting on Twitter seems almost there as far as a confirmation. We'll find out here soon.
Lacrosse is a great sport and is growing in popularity every year. It's huge with the youngsters here in the Cities. It would be very smart for Und to pursue a sport like that.
I don't necessarily think it's that low. He obviously doesn't want to play in the CHL and wants to play against older competition. He would have nothing to prove at the CHL level. I'm guessing he ends up going to the Swiss league and unbiasedly think that's a decent idea. Biasedly I would really like for him to play a year of college hockey.
I have heard the same. But Fargo also drafted Rhett Gardner so one has to wonder why they would draft them. I would bet that Fargo believes there is a small chance that Tomek would play for them next year if Zane stays. Believe me, these teams have closer contacts than many on this forum.
I think they put him with Seabrook in the third. He not playing great but he also hasn't played a ton of hockey this year. At his age it must be hard sitting for that long. He's such a smart player, he'll bounce back. I'm glad they have him.
I would argue the vermette trade was worse. However, if they can get lucky and win the cup than its all worth it.
Speed? The wild had enough of that last night, believe me. The wild squad is a complete grinder team, and that is their only strength. They come at you in waves. Obviously the Hawks skill is far superior than the wild but the Hawks have been known to be soft at times.
Dubby gave up the one softy however he got bailed out more than a few times. Crawford continues to scare me. That continues to be their achilles heel. When the Hawks buckle down like they did in the third there is no way the wild can beat them. But when they get sloppy grinding teams can grind out wins.
If he's available? Sure. Why wouldn't they? His guaranteed salary will be almost nothing being a second rounder. For the value, that wouldn't be a bad move.
