Well we agree on some things then;)

1. no nickname (this was done too fast and I am not a huge fan of any of the remaining names) 2. North Stars (or some other variation) 3.roughriders, tied with fighting hawks, but barely 4. Nodaks 7. Sundogs (shouldn't even be 7 because it is unacceptable) Let the bashing begin. Remember personal opinion only guys.

I simply said I don't hear too much support for rr outside of this forum. just because I don't profess my love for rr everyday, multiple times a day doesn't mean I don't care what the nickname will be. Exactly. Also , the only thing hold slavin back was the signing bonus. He was getting low-balled and the Canes finally came back and gave him a good deal.

Supposedly he was shafted on his signing bonus after the season however that was upped today. He got what he was looking for.

Saad was going to get an offer sheet, 100%. There was no way chi could match. At least this way they got two players and 2 potential prospects. Again, they were about to lose Saad for a late first rounder most likely (next year). Bowman did what he could with almost no leverage. The hawks will be ok, we've seen this all before.

Probably. Tough situation because he could really use another full year playing junior A hockey, getting tons of ice time in all situations. He'll sit on the bench most of next year if he comes in. Could be a tough situation to bounce back from heading into his soph year.

Agree 100%. I actually pegged him as a top 6 forward. During the tourney, he was noticeable. As for our freshman, Boeser is going to be legit. However there will be some freshman that won't adjust to the college speed as fast. Hopefully guys like chyzk and Johnson have huge years. I could actually ser someone like T Olson having a productive third line role. Pogo should also have a bigger year.

Dang, I was in the minority however I was curious to see what he would bring in his upper class years. I could always see the offensive upside however he never put it all together in his first two years. As this is his career, I definitely understand why he is leaving. A roster spot was never guaranteed for him.
