So odd, I was with a gf guy last weekend who thought nodaks would be a front runner. Pretty connected, im guessing he knows a committee member. I was shocked I never thought that would go too far.
Honesty who cares...we don't even play against them. They chose to not bring the nickname back. But again I like that other guys idea about Nordic stars or some other form of stars.
Haha I disagree. Again I was simply spitting out a few nicknames. Sun dogs? Are you kidding me?
I liked your Nordic Stars idea...not sure what it is but it has a decent ring to it. Or some other form of stars.
Ice, blizzard, clippers, sugar kings, harvesters, Mulies (or something related to deer or mule deer).
I can't believe some of the names we're left with. I know the nicknames I just referenced aren't that good but it took me 30 seconds to think of.
I had to get out of the nickname thread...talk about banging your head against the wall.
Either way former/current players on this listing. Good to see Zane at the top in Boston.

I strongly doubt that. Are you talking about the people on the forum or the people that really matter...the one's back home calling the shots, the people on the committee? I have heard first hand there were concerns with RR already having that nickname.
Yup. Go to the initial post. The OP was saying more likely than not someone in Bismark (that I would assume knows sports) would not know RR's nickname. I simply doubted that. My cousins live there, they know RR's nickname. In all honestly I'm giving up on this debate, Roughriders is silly to me but if that's what the nickname is, so be it. It doesn't alter my alliance.
I'm strongly guessing it ends with no nickname and we remain North Dakota. The remaining nicknames are so bad that they'll have to stay with und. There are so many bigtime alumni wanting to keep it ND.
