  1. None of our forwards want the puck on the pp. last night, every time one of them had the puck they were constantly trying to feed the Dmen. And funny thing is I love that. Getting back to your d on the PP is one of the best things to do. The problem there though is that the forwards have to create space down low to keep the pk units honest. Last night ak was simply clogging the middle because they knew the forwards weren't being aggressive whatsoever. Shaws got some work to do here...he's had phenomal players and his pp play has been sub par since he's been here.
  2. Haha, it was the first game of the season...boy. They tied up in Alaska, not that big of a deal. Shuffle the lines.
  3. Agreed. although they played terrible and their Pp was as bad as it gets. A tie isn't the end of the world though. A loss would have been much worse.
  4. Ok makes sense. I was thinking, this kid was banged up bad in player only practices? Injury prone to the fullest.
  5. Jeez. Hopefully it was something lingering and not during player only practices.
  6. Top prospect goalie. From what I've heard he's looking to get signed after this year. He obviously won't play college again.
  7. I'll drop the suite tickets to $35/ticket. If anyone is interested.
  8. The D should be fine. Wolanin is much more of an offensive minded Dman but that core last year was littered with freshmen playing big minutes. Wolanin, Shaw, Poolman, Peski, Johnson, etc will be a nice group banking on natural development. Although we lost high end players the last two years we are bring back underclassmen that have played huge minutes in big time situations. I expect guys like, JJ, Hoff, Pogo, Gersich, etc to have solid years. To your specific reference, Poolman didnt play against the greatest team ever assembled ( ) during last year's NCAAs and I thought our D looked very solid. Wolanin was man. He's also coming off an MVP at the Sens dcamp. Watch out.
  9. I know they are only pre-season rankings. However, I thought UND would be a solid #2. SCSU should be pretty solid though, even with the loss of Cholowski (sp?).
  10. SCSU has been rated high by everyone...but I too think we should be a lock for #2. The boys should be very solid this year.
  11. 4 lower bowl tickets are sold. I still have two suite tickets.
  12. I have two suite tickets (corner where Sioux shoot twice) - $45/ea i also have 4 lower bowls (107 row P - seats 9-12) - $35/ea OBO
  13. I know right. This kid obviously backed out of Harvard because he wanted to focus 99% on hockey. I thought UND may have been in the running....until I saw he was from Michigan.
  14. That's about as big as it gets. We'll see if he ends up there.
  15. Yeah they could. They were absolutely shredding the top bantams in the state (and they were the youngest players). I mean, their parents built them an entire school to play/practice everyday.
  16. I think the article is fairly written. Again, these kids (especially the '03) was bound to commit somewhere. The boys were probably a package deal.
  17. Ouch I thought he was going UND.
  18. Still baffled by that decision to punt that ball with 8 minutes on the clock. That was their shot to keep it close (beat the spread).
  19. The Sioux with the #1 recruiting class in 2017 (Neutral Zone).

    Jerseys

Yeah, not bad. I am still a Sioux forever guy but those don't look bad once the numbers are inserted.
  21. I believe Gersich is second in the Beauty league in goal scoring.
