  1. Cryptic messages....I get it. Make'm work for it. haha
  2. BSU was buzzing those two games. That's probably why the talent/skill looked similar. There was zero time and space. Their PK clogged up the middle and our PP puck carriers kept trying to take it through the middle (insanity). You see it in football every so often. A young big school loses to an FCS school full of seniors early on in the season. I think the same thing happened to the boys last weekend. Early in the season and they couldn't match BSU's intensity. They play at the end of the season and UND wins those two game (I hope). Also, guys like Combs and Harris are skilled. I mean Combs received a late offer to come here.
  3. Bemidji is a tough team to start out against. The are very conservative in how they play and they are very old. Coupled with the fact this school is so close to ours (somewhat of a rivalry and definitely one of BSU's biggest games of the year), that is a recipe for disaster. And a disaster is was.
  4. Neither do I. However, goalies are always an interesting position. If the Thome/Scheel combo prove to be a great tandem I think you see Rowe play a season in the USHL next season and get a ton of action. The flip side of that is that will probably count as one less year at UND. He'll be drafted pretty early. I would guess he signs three years after his draft year.
  5. Sure, but this kid is very highly toughted. If Thome and Scheel are playing well I would absolutely try and convince Rowe to play a year in the USHL. But if there is even a slight weakness at the goalie position I would bring him in. Either way the kid needs to play so I’d be fine either route.
  6. The whole tomek situation was completely mishandled and he was brought in too early. Kid also had a poor team attitude. So hopefully Rowe is a good kid.
  7. He should be here next year most likely. Don’t get the tomek correlation
  8. Rowe committed....another big get
  9. Sure that makes sense.
  10. Not sure what this even means. So what he came out and said it...he’s an upperclassman, they get the interviews. It was obvious and he was part of the problem. He lost draw and draw the last two night. Not pointing to you lost as much as I am responding to his comment.
  11. They were much better the first night with yon and Hoff in. Need to flip back to that lineup and keep Tychonik in. Let it roll. If they keep tinkering with this group they’ll lose a lot.
  12. On paper this team should be much better.
  13. This is some tough hockey to watch. Very boring.
  14. Pp is terrible
  15. So...how didn’t Tychonik cut that lineup?
  16. When it matters the most, constant turnovers. Not a ton of skill out there tonight.
  17. Boys better pick it up here soon.
  18. Just paid the $30....and I'll probably miss the first. I'm a die hard.
  19. Haha the goalie had a 500 gaa and 81 save percentage heading into last night (only one game though).
  20. Well the game was fun to watch due to all our possession time. But that Manitoba team was terrible. Hopefully our lack of scoring from last year doesn’t continue. Again, our problem last night was not getting to the paint, they stayed on the perimeter all night.
  21. As of today, I doubt Costello makes it to campus next year. I could be wrong, he'll need to have a good year this year. Pinto would be firmly ahead of him IMHO.
  22. a B is a second/third round projection. I thought more would have fit into that grading. Frisch received rave reviews after the AAPG.
  23. UND eligible draft prospects for ‘19 graded a lot lower than I would have thought. Highest is Rizzo and donavon with B’s
