Outside of the terrible D breakdowns (again by one of our most experienced D) I thought we looked great. Goalie played really well, we had sustained attack time for extremely long stretches. Unfortunately we let their goalie get into a rhythm.
On a building note, special teams need to be better. Our PP doesn’t feel overly scary and our PK looked unenergetic. Again, the D breakdowns killed us tonight. ASU barely even touched the puck but when they did it was point blank. Overall we were the much better team. Time to move forward and build.
I know they have a good PP, but I feel like our PK is atrocious…anyone have our season % handy? We just let one of their most skilled guys walk to the hash marks and wire one point blank.
I have 10+ college hockey games on tonight on the espn app…hockey east, ecac, etc. Alabama vs NC State club hockey is on tonight. When is the NCHC going to grow up a bit and get big time?
Honestly I have no close as far as which one. They’re both supposed to more that skilled offensive player. Time will tell. Pretty sure as July’s signed his NLI
Agreed and highly doubt all players will be gone. Locks to be out are: Livinavage, Wiebe, and Verhoeff. Probably out: Emery; Could be out: Reschny and Zellers. Swanson, Ollie, and Laurila will be there barring injury.
Didn’t know where to put this. But Lincoln Kuehne’s right were traded a few days ago in the USHL. I noticed he’s barely playing at ASU and basically should be a senior in HS by birthdate. Could be on the move.
Right…from a pure scoring perspective he’s second in the entire league in points. I’m assuming he’s dinged up and needs some rest…or a character type deal.
To get the other two, I’d definitely take him as a depth add. 100%. Decent size, plays D, etc.
But Wyatt just announced, they’re not changing I wouldn’t think. I actually heard Matt is letting each of them make their own decisions.
