I'd really like to see what Chyzyc could do with Jewels and N. Schmaltz but i spose Pooly can open up space for them. Not sure i like pattyn on that line. I almost think they should switch Pattyn and Chyzyk.

CC's been on an upswing lately. That said, the Sioux are too strong, too talented. Tonight the tighter of the 2 games; Sioux win 3-1. OD scores just to make sure.
How about OD just scores in every game for the rest of the season!

Yea i could see that lol. Thats my shin pad, give it back you jerk, I will go out there without my stick, I'll just take Zanes, hes an all star goalie, he doesnt need it, he usually looses it anyways lol

Agreed. however this should be great time to get Simo and Olson in the lineup. They need to dust off the cobwebs against a weaker CC team. These two should be good 3rd/4th liners.
Nothing against Simo, he always seems to work his ass off but i think i noticed Olson more Friday night then i did Simo on Saturday night, but i read to that Simos line didnt play much Saturday, not sure why

I was wondering the same thing.....ugh what the hell, can the Sioux go a month or 2 without an injury? I swear, the Sioux is the only team that always has an injury good to hear about Nick though.

From what ive seen the last 2 seasons half the NCAA players might do that. Since it seems like now the thing to do is lay on the ice and act hurt to draw a penalty

I actually didn't think Nick's injury warranted a PP. It wasn't a dirty hit, just an unfortunate collision with two different Miami players. Besides, with two shorthanded goals against, I'd rather not get another PP...
Thats what i was getting at, of all the players laying on the ice acting like they're hurt to draw a penalty, it happens to the Sioux and it isnt a penalty just a bad fall, so we possibly loose our best set up guy. The hockey gods dont like us

Only the Sioux could have a guy lay on the ice with a potential head injury and NOT get a PP out of it. UGH how does this happen?!?!?!?
Pattyn barley runs into the Denver goalie and gets an interfearence penalty. Anyone know why Ausmus got a penalty for hitting the Miami playey? i didnt catch everything there i guess

they all got excited on every freaking breakout or neutral zone entry...they cried for a penalty on every play...
back to our team-
Zero chemistry up front other than the Gaarder line. The problem is that Mac and Parks have so much freaking chemistry, you can't just replicate that. Problem is Poolman brings nothing to the offense as a forward, so who do you play with Parks? Then lose Schmaltz to a thigh to the head...and the depth that has made this team great is really compromised.
Add to it that Mac plays in all special teams situations, is one of the fastest skaters on the team, and is our best face-off man...
All that said- we gutted out a tough win in Miami and get to hang a banner.
Schmaltz getting hit, not sure if there was a penalty there, id have to see it again but im sure a Sioux player wouldv got a penalty if it was Miami

I want to know where the Parks penalty came from, all i saw was Caggiula getting pushed into the goalie. The i thought the Ausmus check was clean unless i missed something

Im not sure why Zane even moved back on that one goal, he shouldv just stayed laying on the puck, you didnt see anything till he moved

Cheapest game I've seen played by a team (Miami) in a loooong time. Late hits after the whistle and loooong after the puck was gone and mostly up high. If the uni's had been switched, we'd have three sitting out DQs next week. Derek Shepturd ought not be allowed to officiate a mite game. Simply brutal. If Fenton has an iota of integrity, Adam and several of his cronies will be gone next year.

Should be an interesting game tonight...Miami seems to have more to play for with playoff home ice on the line...the Sioux have an insane streak of not allowing even strength goals and would like to maintain their PWR ranking.
