    I heard the Ralph had an OK regional when they hosted it there... or do they not put a bid in because it generates too much money?

    Maybe the NC$$ doesn't like UND to host the regionals because we're a hostile and abusive environment. :whistling:

    this is the wrong thread for this question but does anyone think the gophers are going to take the shepherds with them when they move to the big 10 conference?:) I know I probably should've asked that lol

    INCH came out with it's "early" preseason top ten has UNDlisted at number 3 and the goophs 1 and michigan 2.

    The gophs #1, we all know the nc$$ loves the rodents but shouldn't BC be #1 or did they loose players?

    Dell should get a "C" too if he returns ;)

    Ok how about all the seniors get the C, the juniors and sophomores get A's, then the freshman can get lower case a's to the big A's, there no ones left out and everyone is happy. :)

    But has he been 15th overall pick good? I really don't think so, even though he was drafted as a project.

    I didn't wanna say that cuz I thought I'd get mugged but I suppose I shouldn't worry about that on an opinion blog. maybe this is the wrong thing to say but I would like forbort more if he was a more physical defenseman.

    I was thinking, maybe it's a good thing if jordan schmaltz doesn't go in the first round of the draft, because if you think about it we haven't had very much luck with defenseman that have gone in the first round of the draft in the past few years.

    So in summarizing some excellent posts....Why play junior hockey?

    ~Money under the table, plus the money they get per week.

    ~Games, games, games

    ~Travel

    ~Not having to worry about scholastics ask

    ~Exposure

    I know there is also a system in place to compensate these kids as far as paying for college after playing in the CHL as well. Us diehard college hockey fans can spit and cuss at the CHL all we want too, but it isn't the worst option.

    NOW QUIT TAKING OUR FRICKEN COMMITTED RECRUITS!!! :glare:

    Jones and Dell need to make up their minds so we can at least get a line up lol, well Dell does, cuz im pretty sure Jones is going to Portland. This is going to be a long 5 months.

    I would bet that Gleason will be in the lineup regardless of if Jones comes or not.

    He's too dynamic of a player to keep out...I like him better as a dman just because he has the ability to easily skate the puck out of the d-zone if the pass isn't there.

    So if we have enough healthy forwards and jones comes in and gleason plays, who sits?

    I almost don't want Jones to come to UND because if he comes, I have a feeling that Gleason would be sitting and I don't think that would be right. I don't see them sitting MacWilliam, Forbort, Simpson, Mattson, or Schmaltz. I do hope they sit Pannzerrela before Gleason if Jones doesn't come.

    O' Donnell- Knight- Kristo

    Macmillian- Grimaldi- Parks

    Chyzyk, Sanderson- Rowney-Rodwell

    Gaarder-St. Clair- Caggiula

    First 2 lines look good unless you want to switch Grimaldi and O' Donnell around but I think they want Grimaldi at center and I'm sure O'Donnell can replace Nelson, and I don't think you want to split up the chemistry between Parks and Macmillian. I think Rowney should center the 3rd line with Rodwell and not sure between the other 2. I think Gaarder played good enough last season to keep him on the 4th line. I cant remember what St.Clair is so I put him at center. Then I guess sitting will be Pattyn and Senkbeil, they should both see playing time sometime though. I think Sanderson was a forward, my bad if he's not.
