How do you possibly know who will have better goaltending this season when it's only October?

Good post and I completely agree. Gophers and Sioux are both stacked with elite talent up front and on the blueline. At this point I have no idea which team will end up on top at the end of the season but I'm confident this will be a two team race. Who knows, maybe we'll meet in Pittsburgh.

You say he's had a poor colleger career so far, he would barely crack UND's third line, and he is far from being a good hockey player. So I have to ask......have you ever seen him play an actual game? There's not a better forward in the league along the boards or in front of the net. He's on the first pp unit for a reason.

UND and Denver both have 14 WCHA titles with Minnesota at 13 so you are only assured of being tied for the most. Also UND has 10 playoff titles compared to 15 for Denver and 14 for Minnesota. I see you mentioned Broadmoors specifically though so you could very well be right about that. Man I'm going to miss this league.

I think right now its a toss up between UND and Minnesota and whichever team gets better goaltending will probably win the league. But right now its impossible to know which team will get the better goaltending as its a big question mark for both teams.

Of course I am. Every team has parties every year. That alone is not evidence that someone should be punished like bigskyvikes implied. Maybe more will come out about Reilly's injury, maybe something did happen to warrant a supsension but at this point there is zero evidence that anything bad happended.

Punish the captains because a teammate slipped and fell? I have little doubt alcochol was involved of course but nothing we've heard so far indicates anything that would warrant a suspension.

Could not agree more. See Jeff Frazee. Scouts said he was the best American goalie prospect in years to come along but he was total headcase. It doesn't matter that his physical talent is better than most.

Im talking about the listed price on the tickets, not what they sell for on the street. And I understand that people regularly sell these tix for about $100 a piece. What I'm saying is that if the face value of each ticket was $100 then there would not be 11,500 fans at the Ralph.

Yeah Im certainly not convinced he'll play in the NHL but he's one heck of a college player, at least so far. Spehar had a a great freshman season as well so you never know.

Not sure why you think that. He produced big time in high school, went straight to the USHL and led in playoff scoring, then had over 40 pts as a frosh. Why is he overrated?

Honestly, Tyler Hirsch had the best hands I have ever seen in my 25 years of watching Gopher hockey. He obvioulsy wasn't the player Toews was but his hands were the best I've seen.
