    Gameday!!!!! Lets do this! Things Im looking for: 5 or less penalties. No false starts. Better special teams than last week.

    I hope mollberg gets to start with dink and dunk to get started. Do some rollouts, make him only read half the field. Since he is turnover prone, make his "oh crap!!!" Reflex to tuck it away. He's probably a stronger runner than he is a shifty runner, just pull it down and lean forward. If he gets hit, he has to get two hands on the ball and hold onto it. He can't fumble anymore on sacks. Its a tougher thing to ask, but we just dont have the margin of error to allow that.

    The olb's need to have a better game. Their running game looks good, we can't give up off tackle. AND we dont want to set-up playaction. Weve looked lost a handfull of times against playaction.

    My thought on the subject, while I hate to see Sioux go, is to find a way to evolve elements of the current logo into the new. That said, I think the natural choice would be playing off of the feathers in the current logo and evolve that into a bird of some sort. Perhaps and eagle. Maybe researching the Sioux name for Eagle. I think there are ways to pay homage to the Sioux and keep it incorporated while changing it enough to staisfy the NCAA.

    There is a story of Spotted Eagle and Black Crow that is kind of cool: http://pyramidmesa.com/wrsioux5.htm about a warrior being betrayed by a friend, left out on a ledge to die and was saved by eagles that helped him return to his tribe. In the end, he returns to the Eagles that saved him and fed them Bison meat and honor them.

    I wondered if they would go a route like that but there is no one with NA background/known ties on the committee.

    But for the daily plug, Im pretty sure wolves have some NA significance

    Good Lord. What a bunch of mealy-mouthed new-speak. It's a committee to gather data and make a recommendation.

    If the nickname ends up being anything other than a NOUN, I will be mad.  And if it's a WEATHER PHENOMENON, I will have hard time following the teams.  And if it a WEATHER PHENOMENON first suggested by a prominent anti-Sioux activist, that will be the end for me.

    yeah I don't want any suggestion from an anti-nicknamer based on spite and principle alone

    The number of rigs is up to nearly a new high.  The same number of rig workers and fracking crews are creating a flowing well in half the time.

     

    The logistics part is more difficult:  trains needing to be off loaded with pipe and sand.  Getting pipelines to the wells to take away wastewater, nat gas, to processing plants and oil to loading stations.  Oil tankers railcars needing to be filled.

     

    Next year, is looking like the year that retail builders in Williston will take off.

    Yeah, I imagine Menards will kinda bust the door open on that industry like how restaurants have kinda exploded here the last 2 years.
