Agree but did anyone else ever get the sense that watching Muss coach would be similar to watching an OB-GYN doctor trying to perform a vasectomy? He just looked completely uncomfortable all the time.
I've never thought about anything, but there's a high probability I overuse it now.

UND did have 2 of those names, and Red River has one out of the remaining two. No thanks to the Peace Makers or Gardeners. If we have to pick a name dealing with North Dakota as a whole since we represent the state not just a city like Miami or UCLA, I would think it could be anything from Cowboys/Cowgirls (for the women's teams), Oilers, etc from the West to flyers, redskins (potatoes), Warriors, etc from the east.
Peace Makers, and our logo is nuclear warhead with Old Glory and the State Flag on it. Cue up tasteless videos of said logo firing at opponents arena. Too far?

Thanks for clarifying but what you said makes absolutely zero sense. Eastern Washington is on the road and has a way better offense than MSU and Montana. Their defense is worse but our offense is so anemic it won't really matter.
I personally do not understand how losing by 11 to Montana means we could beat EWU?
I just think the rankings are wrong after seeing how they played the Bison.

I think Montana is going to be tougher than Montana State but a noticeable margin.
I will be very excited if we end with the same score that we had against Montana State. Also, I think that if we would be able to have that margin against the Griz, I think we could beat Eastern Washington.

I'll go on record saying I think Montana is market-ably better than the Bobcats. If we hang the same score as we did against Montana State, I think we'll beat Eastern Washington.

Good to hear they're putting the funds to good use. Heaven forbid they pay off the boondoggle parking garage early, or even worse, not raise parking pass prices $25 per year. (I realize the $20k for a car is peanuts in the overall budget, but I hate them)

Wolves would be a cool name but they have nothing to do with ND. Might as well be the Dingos
Wolves were around roaming the Dakotas the same time Bison were. The only reason they aren't (they randomly are, we've seen them at our farm in west of Cando) is because they haven't been introduced the same way Bison have.

What they should do is instead of having the scored of other games on the video board for the whole game, they sould have the game stats for both teams. Having the scores once in awhile to update current games is ok, but after I know the score, I don't need to see it for another 2 hours!! Hopefully someone at the AL reads this boeard. We obviously have all the answers!!
I like this idea too. I'd rather consistently see stats there than other scores. Isn't there small digital scoreboards off to the side of the big video boards? Maybe use those to show other scores. Better yet, have two of those on each side, one for other scores, one for stats, video board for replays, highlights, and eventually videos of wolves eating bison (That's a two problem solution there folks.) Yes, I intentionally thread drifted to plug my nickname idea. I'm not above it.

How awesome was Taj Rich though? It was from about the first play he decided how he was gonna play. I was so pumped when I realized he's a sophomore.
That was just exciting defense. 16 TOFL? I forgot how much fun that side of the line of scrimmage was.

Molberg's stats for the last two games
11 for 31 with 3 picks and a fumble in the end zone. 149 yards passing total. 5/30 on third downs. Admittedly working under the least creative offensive coordinator I have ever seen - ever. Everyone was happy when we heard we would pound the rock. - Has a catchy sound. However, we are getting pounded with the rock - not the same. I never thought I would wish for another bubble screen, but here I am. I know we have some talent deficits - but are you telling me that this was the best game plan we could come up with. Run for 2 yards a carry and if that doesn't work run some more for 2 yards a carry. Bubba has done a great job getting the defense to play with intensity and pride. Not impressed with the OC, however.
Agreed on screens. 5 years ago I would slapped myself for saying it with how we used to try and force screens. They can be tricky to run correctly though.
I'd still like to see Joe on rollouts more often. He's a big and mobility was one of his key attributes when recruited. I could be dumb and there could be thigns I don't know, like maybe he has trouble throwing on the move, or maybe they don't trust the backside of the offensive line to hold long enough, but you'd think it'd help him out a bit. It'd simplify the reads a little bit, and if he's not comfortable he just pull it down and lean forward. Dude's a big guy, he probably gets a yard or two more than he should.

Taj Rich unreal game. Defense, unbelievable. Punter was awesome. Chris Carter made some big special teams plays. Offense, woof. Thank goodness for that bomb to Ferguson. Offensive isnt good but Rudolph should be able to sneak a little bit more production outta these horses, right?

I hated the online ticket deal. I got myself prepared and all ready for a green and white account, but a lot of people had trouble with it. It's not something that someone can casually walk into and just decide to do. It's kind of a process. The fees suck royally. I could see someone just saying eff it, if they can't do it after like 10 minutes. Obviously they wouldn't be a hardcore fan, but maybe they could have been one in the making.
