    I think Bubba is a good person. However I never thought he was the right person for the job. I really would like to be wrong but he just can’t turn the corner. I know I am probably in the minority and that is ok.

    This is disturbing regardless of who you believe. It’s just bad PR and not good for our university. This could have a bad ripple effect for other possible donors.

    My heart is heavy. I can never understand how low and desperate some one can get but I don’t know how someone could do that to their own children. It’s truly mind boogling to me. It’s one thing to take your own life but your children too. They never had a chance, truly sad. I pray for those children and hope god has wrapped his loving embrace around them. Hug and kiss your children a little extra tonight.

    You are correct but with all that being said, I can understand how they players may take it personally. It hurts when others look for greener pastures. It doesn't always work out but Motzko will find that out sooner or later whether he made the right move.

    Well Chaves should seriously look at the WBB and MBB coaches. Maybe Brew gets a pass since he is a few years removed from a conference championship but Jones needs to go.

    I listened to the interview and I can’t exactly say she opened up about the transfer. I guess my biggest question would be if she is so high on Montana State why didn’t she just go there in the first place. If anything this puts Brew on notice that things aren’t hunky dory. Losing a native NoDak is not a good sign.     They looked at him but I don't believe offered. He is a Blue liner from TRF.

    I will be interested to see how this plays out. One of my cousins kids is headed to St. Cloud next year to play for them.

    I didn’t ask that question but it didn’t seem that was the reason. It was more of finishing their career in the same conference they started. He did make it sound like it was more than just Fallyn who was disappointed but rather the juniors as a whole. Now whether that translates into others transferring, time will tell I guess.

    So back at the end of Feb. I went with the significant other to a conference in Denver. I was on a flight with a nice man who I chatted with for a bit. Ended up standing in line with him at the car rental place. I noticed he had a frozen four tag on his bag and started to talk UND hockey with him. During our conversation I mentioned I worked at UND and he told me he was in town to head to Greeley to watch his daughter and the UND women’s BB game as his daughter played for us, his daughter was Fallyn. We chatted a little bit more but he mentioned the juniors were disappointed that this is their last season in the Big Sky and they wouldn’t be able to finish their careers playing in the Big Sky next season. I didnt think anything of it until news that Fallyn was going to transfer. It didn’t surprise me in the least she went to another Big Sky school which would make sense given the conversation I had with her father.

    IMHO we should part ways with Jones. He has been here long enough and it would be much better to give someone else a shot. Jones has under performed in my opinion for many years.

    I was so looking forward to this year for Shane but he was never able to have the same success as last year. Could he have used another year at UND, absolutely! If he does sign I wish him the best. Surely he will be more of a AHL fixture for a while but I suppose they want to get him in their system.

    Can someone please explain to me and I am sorry if it has been discussed ad nauseum but did Brian Faison get fired or did he truly want to retire? What did he do? Budget deficit issues with the athletic department? Mismanagement?

    I think a lot of people on campus are thinking the same exact thing.
