I think I recall a year or two ago we had UMDs #. Heck when they opened that building we spanked them. Every dog has his day but we will get ours.

I normally like to watch Starman and Holden but they are just brutal tonight.

Looks like CBS is all about this 6 game win streak UMD has on UND. I think in the last 15 minutes I have heard it about 6 times.

I didn’t realize Avery Peterson was such a hack. 4 penalties.

Paging UND. The second period has started.

He looked pretty square to the shooter. Bad one to give up.

That was a bad one on Cam.

Seems like UND having issues hitting the net. Lots of shots going high and wide.

Looks like 1000 degree pizza is now closed. I liked that place but it did have some issues.

My guess it is between Porter and Chaves with Chaves being the one. However my dark horse is Mike Mannausau.

This really is to bad that Prairie Public no longer broadcasts the BSU games. I was hoping to be able to watch both games this weekend.

Who also had a far more spectacular supporting cast.

We just don’t have the talent. We have lost to many star players. If our best player is a defensemen that doesn’t speak volumes to our offense even if he is offensive minded. There is about a handful or more of players that just have not showed up this year.

I saw lots of poor shot selections and many, many shots fired high and wide. Guys still trying to hold the puck and make fancy plays that either don’t put a shot on net or it goes the other way and in the back of the net. I know this is not a race but a marathon and we have lots of clean up work to do. Oh and I don’t even want to get started on the power play. Woof! I do want to point out that for the most part Cam and the D played outstanding this weekend. Really good, especially Friday night with the good shot blocks and active sticks.

I think Yon, Olson and Bowen are playing better than a handful of our upper class men. Perhaps they should sit instead.

Well hopefully some of your positivity will trickle down to me. I did not like what I saw this evening.

This loss really burns me. I don’t even know how many shots went high and wide this evening. Some one mentioned shooting into the goalie and there was lots of that tonight when they did get a shot on net. UND could have and should have won this game.

I know we certainly deserve most of the penalties we get but tonight I saw a UND player get checked from behind or at the very least boarding or charging right in front of the ref and he did nothing. Did anyone else catch that?

I don’t like to complain about officials because it is pointless but that had to be one of the worst called hockey games I have seen in a while. I really wish the league would hold these refs accountable.

What is going on with some of our fast food restaurants lately. Taco Bell has always been somewhat improperly managed but that place seems like a mess and now you have KFC who doesn’t even have chicken available at times. I was in Taco Bell a couple weeks ago and that place just scared me. I have never understood why it is so poorly run. Anyway my point was if a place if business is poorly run just imagine the food handling and prep that is in place and it makes me really worried.

The university is trying so hard to improve the game day experience snd unfortunately they have to work with this. All the hype and momentum they had going from last year coupled with the reinvestment of the game day experience has had the life sucked out of it the last three weeks. I hope people will keep going to the games but I have a feeling that won’t be the case if they continue to play poorly. I am not pointing my finger at anyone but it all starts with coaching and recruiting. It seems to me, and I could be wrong, but the last few years we have had a fair number of players get injuried in preseason or practice and it’s seems to be some of our most impactful players. Bubba and co need to get things figured out quickly or all the goodwill will turn very quickly on this coaching staff.

This loss certainly doesn't help the fan momentum coupled with the whole game day experience upgrades, and it feels like the air has just been let out of the room. If you want butts in seats you need to have a good product on the field. Today we took a huge step back.

How so? I am happy to land him but I have never heard of his name. He isn't even the best player in HS in North Dakota. Again not disparaging him at all and I am happy he is joining the UND family. Welcome Tyler.
