  1. If you want to compare burgers - straight up - I'm down with that, although I think price needs to be taken into consideration. But to tout the "tremendous" advantage of a casual, sit-down in terms of menu size and food quality over a drive-in? Come on. Besides, last time I checked, RR was not serving breakfast.
  2. The fact that you're comparing Red Robin to Sonic is quite telling about your level of sophistication. Why can't everybody just relax and agree that when it comes to restaurants, more is better? Fact is, there is nothing like Sonic in the area, and I think they will do extraordinarily well.
  3. Make that 26-22, Sioux leading SUU. 2:36, 3Q.
  4. 22-19 SUU, 3:30 in 3rd, UND driving
  5. If Xcel's donation were tied to PATs made instead of TDs, I wouldn't have to pay my bill next month.
  6. No confidence in Zeb Miller's leg on the last drive? Dude is a stud; he would have had a fighting chance from 55 yds, no? It's early in a 3-0 game.
  7. Best 4th Q crowd retention I've seen in a long time.
  8. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I'm sitting here at the Alerus and I just noticed there is no banner to commemorate the 2011 Great West co-championship. I know it wasn't a 'real' conference, and it was a split crown, but does anyone know if there is one that is either hanging somewhere or on the way? Maybe it was sent to the AD in Fargo by mistake?
  9. I'll take this one. Only THREE D-1 schools can finish the year with a win: the NCAA champs, the NIT champs, and the CIT champs. The teams who advance in the lesser tourneys are still playing (some in front of the home fans while many others get to travel to interesting locales) long after the early round exits from the big dance are at home. Heck, the NIT semifinalists get a trip to NYC to play at MSG. So I'll turn the question around and ask: would you rather your team win the NIT or get dumped in the first round of the NCAAs?
  10. Something to think about the next time you hit the ice with your friends or family. Or if you've been looking for the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful donation to your local rink or park board. http://www.omaha.com...ther-s-survival
