For the past week or so, the Siouxsports.com home page will not display on my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S6. It is just blank. I can get to the forum page, but not the home page. Anyone else have or had this problem?

Las Vegas and the new MGM - AEG arena would be a great location for the Frozen Four. However, I do not see the NCAA holding a tournament in LV anytime soon. The righteous and judgmental organization known as the NCAA shuns Las Vegas. Although four NCAA basketball conferences (PAC-12, WAC, West Coast and Mountain West - Big Sky also talked about holding their tourny in LV, if I recall correctly) successfully hold their conference tournaments in Las Vegas, the NCAA will not schedule any NCAAA Basketball first/second round, regionals nor final four games in the city. I don't see that policy changing for hockey.

Las Vegas' new arena will hold about 17,500 for hockey and will be finished in the spring of 2016. http://arenalasvegas.com/about/quick-facts.aspx It will be a fantastic facility and would be a great venue for the ND v. MN rivalry, but is owned by a different company (MGM Resorts and AEG) than the Orleans Arena (Boyd Gaming). I have been to many hockey games in the Orleans Arena and it is also a good venue - all seats have good proximity and view of the ice and has luxury boxes. There have been many Division 1 basketball games held there over the holidays, with big name programs, like North Carolina having played . It will be a great event for ND hockey and the City of Las Vegas - who will likely have an expansion NHL team playing in their first or second season by that time.

I am correct that there is no live internet tv stream of the game today because it is being broadcast on CBS?

Fullerton should call the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas and check the availability. The arena, where UNLV plays basketball, has a lower bowl that seats about 8,000+, luxury suites and a 2,500 connected adjacent arena called the Cox Pavillion that would work for the women.

Radio broadcast is working on Iheartradio feed for 96.1 the fox.

Does CBS Sports Network provide an internet stream of the game?

The CNN author states, "[t]he NCAA imposes a ban on offensive Native American mascots and last year, voters dumped the University of North Dakota's Fighting Sioux mascot." The same has been stated in other media stories recently including a big write up on UND hockey in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Although maybe technically correct, the statement is made out of context and does not give the complete picture that the voters rejected the nickname out of concern for loss of conference affiliation and other NCAA sanctions.

No, I think you do miss it. I am raising one aspect of criticism. As mentioned by others,the video and audio are problems are a more significant points of criticism. However, Midco is the exclusive broadcast provider of North Dakota home hockey games. Couldn't they at least acknowledge it with some UND logo when broadcasting from the booth? It is a small matter, but could easily be fixed and would make the broadcast better for UND exposure and would look better.

Especially since the have lost the prior "network" that was titled the "Fighting Sioux Sports Network" and later the "UND Sports Network".

They broadcast from the booth, before the game, between the periods and have a pretty lengthy post game show from the booth. You miss the point. They are broadcasting all UND hockey home games and UND should have some logo presence at the heart of the broadcast. If not, the University of North Dakota is losing exposure it should be receiving on a national broadcast.

I would suggest to Midco that they put some North Dakota or UND logo behind Dan Hammer in the hockey booth. Seeing only the Midco logos really looks poor. From the look alone, you can't tell what home game they are broadcasting.

Anyone know if you can watch it online for those of us out of the viewing area?

Doesn't do much for fans farther away such as Las Vegas in my case. The FCS coverage was great.

That is the big question for us outside the Fox North broadcast area (for me Las Vegas), will Fox College Sports be able to pick up the feed and broadcast it?
