I am believing more and more they are going to take a run at banning Fighting Sioux apparel. But as I watched the video again, I realized that what exactly is the plan? Its just a discussion. Kelley is trying to calm some of the waters down b4 graduation more than likely. God I wonder what will happen at graduation if things keep getting worse.

From reading other twitter accounts its looks like its very true, as now some are taking shots at Englestad. The problem of twitter is of course they could just be saying that. However, its been a few hours since I posted that I have not seen any UND statement saying that this is false.

Sounds like UND just threw a gag order at the American Indian Student Service Staff, or at least that is what is being said on twitter.

So I will ask this: What will come of all of this. Honestly (gut feeling).

Someone put out the names on the UND facebook page too. What did I do? Checked the names in the directory. Every current student in is this directory Guess how many showed up as UND students? maybe 1.

A short time ago, ISA students put out a statement demanding a ZERO TOLERANCE policy put in place.

And he was on record saying he will never tell ANYONE that you cannot wear Sioux stuff. I was at the meeting when he said that. It was the same one saying we will not go back to being flickertails.

Its a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't for UND administration. I really do not know how much they can really do in this case. It isn't a UND sponsored event, these t-shirts were privately funded (unless proven otherwise), and we don't know how many of them actually went to UND. To say its been a pretty bad 4-6 weeks for students/administration is an understatement. The biggest thing I fear in the short term is something being pulled at graduation. Long term: the movement to prevent any Sioux gear to be worn/ or anything Sioux said at games. What I hate however, just because a few morons decide to do it, does not mean ALL UND students are racist.

I've had enough of Pelfrey.... I want Deduno! If not, bring up Meyer soon, he is starting to tear up AAA. A few more performances like he has (back to back 11K outings) and he might be the replacement

If I wanted to be a Mustang, I would have stayed home. Nyet on that one I'm willing to trade some originality for a killer looking logo. And when I say some, I mean a name that is only used by 8 schools or less.
