  1. solid day on the service line for UND, I think they had 10 service aces. Griffin had at least 4 of them. Griffin started at setter and had a nice game. She still has some freshman moments here or there but she has all the tool to be the heir apparent to Nikki, perhaps be better at the service line. One thing that really bother me was the first touch off SUU's serves, we didn't do very well in that department today and we need to shore that up. I think we need to be more aggressive on that first touch. I don't know if its seeing the ball or confidence, but we struggled badly in that department. Better night for Lexi and Dooley keep on keeping on. I think Pryor wanted to rest Pioske too, but after the 1st set he couldn't take it anymore and took out Fontes for Pioske.
  2. killer drops there but... we got 3
  3. he dropped it again!
  4. Miguel needs to catch that one. Easy 1st down there.
  5. wow... we are just getting open right now. This D is porous!
  6. Mollberg limped off. Bartles in
  7. We almost pulled an Iowa State on that kickoff.
  8. Be interesting in how they bounce back today against SUU. Make the Big Sky tourney and go from there. Anything can happen, just remember last year.
  9. Although its in jest, that thought shouldn't cross anyone's mind. Considering they will more than likely finish with another 20+ win season and top 4 in the Sky. If they can just figure out a rotation in which they can get enough offense from the outside hitters and enough defense from them, they can win come tourney time. The hitting numbers from the last 4 games have been less than impressive and giving up near a .300 clip isn't going to win you very many games in the Sky. We do need some height from the outers however, next year might fix that issue.
  10. UND 24 SUU 13 D gets 4 sacks UND rushes for 150+ yards Mollberg 270 total yards (very bold prediction right here)
  11. The UND/Griz matchups this year are going to be epic. Right call for these two team to be 1-2 in the conference.
  12. and if he goes and throws 4 picks then people will crow why did you start Bartles! Its damned if you do and damned if you don't.
  13. Will a 1 loss Big 10 team get in? (i.e: OSU, MSU and yes even Minnesota) I think a 1 loss team Big 12 will get in with either KSU or TCU winning out.
  14. I think Bubba and company will make sure that they stayed focus on the task at hand. Chance to get to .500 in conference and overall play, 1st road win of the year, chance to keep building momentum to EWU, and that small..... small chance at the playoffs if they win out. I am expected them to take it to SUU and I will be extremely disappointed if they do not win next week. I'm expected the best performance of the year on both offense and defense
  15. Two weeks will be fun as Miss State/Bama and Auburn/Ole Miss go at it. Can you imagine what would happen if Bama and Auburn won?
  16. Smoked weed
  17. Betting Cashman and shields does. Crandall should play day 1 and be our 1st option off bench
  18. Weber giving MSU all it can handle in the 4th. 20-13 MSU with 6:40 to go
  19. ISU is just taking it to SUU, 56-28. ISU has put up around 700 yards of offense We better smack SUU around next week.
  20. I'll go with an old standby 4-2! Sioux!
  21. I was wondering where he has been all year. He would have been helpful in the WR corp. At least it sounds like outside of the season ending injuries we will be close to full health (even getting Shaugs back finally)
  22. A couple of tweets from the ongoing meeting: The #newnickname task force HAS to come up with a process to pick the new moniker & COULD possibly include actual nickname recommendations. Most of the #newnickname task force seems worried by a Dec. 31 deadline to have a plan to present to UND Pres. Kelley.
  23. The Bye week couldn't have come a better time. Give a chance to get "healthy" for this time of the year. Anderson look a little nicked at the PSU game too (labored a lot in the 4th). Get those guys healthy like Dev, Brandon, Anderson, and Mollberg. and perhaps if Shaugs can finally be good to go it will help the RB corps a lot. Then go down to Cedar City and beat SUU. Get to 4-4, get to 2-2 in conference play. and go from there.
  24. Who was the Big 12 team UNI beat again?
  25. Goes with what I have heard to. I was sitting next to one of the football players in the student section Saturday when McGill went down, he said he was clutching his knee. I asked if it was the same one and he said yes. He immediately said, oh man they are doing the ACL test on him. Miller also hinted on the chat yesterday that Simmons could be done for the year as well.
