I agree. This needs to be a Tommy game. This needs to be a clean game on the offensive side of the ball Defense needs to take their shots when they can: No dropped interceptions, recover any loose balls, get to the QB.

I think they have a shot. First things first, take care of SDSU and avoid the traps.

They are, but I don't think they have put together their best game yet on both sides of the ball. They showed a lot of grit yesterday in pulling that out in Fargo. Can UND do it? Yup. Will it be tough to do? Yup.

The other team cheering for UND this week? SIU An SDSU loss opens the door for them to win the Valley outright.

SDSU is the favorite to win it all, that much was proven yesterday in Fargo. The Road to Frisco will go through Brookings... unless there is an epic collapse.

Big opportunity for UND to produce a statement win in 2022 and have a defining win on the playoff resume.

I'm nervous for this weekend as I could see this as the traditional bump in the road for a team that is still trying to learn to win. If they even get 1 win in this road trip, take it and run with it.

We know about the titantic clash in Fargo this weekend, so I want to focus my efforts on another interesting game in the Valley USD (1-4) @ Illinois State (3-2) The Redbirds are in a good spot here for a potential playoff berth, but they need to avoid any slip ups. The Yotes are finally through their schedule of death. They are 1-4 and need to win out to make the playoffs. The Yotes are going to be a desperate team, so ISU-Red needs to be ready. Now if USD does win... this could be the win to spark them.

You know... if they were to leave. That would put the MVFC at 11. Which mean there would be an opening for 12th... Maybe a team that is in the footprint of the conference? Maybe a team that just moved to the FCS? A team that resides in St. Paul perhaps?
