Probably the exception to the rule based on facilities. Who really should put in a bid to host is the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Nice arena with great sight lines. Holds 8-9 thousand for hockey. 1,885 reasonably priced rooms in the attached hotel. Very easy to get to from anywhere in the US. Allegiant’s home base so they could easily add a flight. Best part? Cheaply priced drinks in the hotel bars

We are assuming one would put in a bid beyond UM. But if UND put a bid in the rodents would jump on it so fast that the government would never have to do a thing. Political pressure? It would make the Spanish Inquisition look like a love fest. I really don't think either the X or Target would even consider letting UND host a regional there. They would not need to be told not to.

With you on that. Don't St. Paul and Minneapolis own those arenas lock, stock, and barrel? How much did the Pohlads really even put into Target Field?

Dang good location. That land is worthless for anything else. Hence why the lagoon and landfill were built there. The use of grey water is a good thing.

Depends really on how many are there at a given time. It is not like they will be there all at ounce. One crew will come and do one thing. Another this and that and so forth. Remember things are built in stages by different trades. As for a full time staff as automated as it will be the need for workers will be limited.

The state does not own either the X or the Target Center. This would be a deal between 2 privately owned sites dealing with another operation. High school sports are a different matter. They could try and stop it but they would lose in court so fast and they know it.

That really is why I thought you meant Jeff. Most people here would recognize Jeff if they saw him but not Steve I figured. I also think Steve would do a great job since he was in banking also and knows how to shake hands. So if it is Steve why not? Me? I would like to see either one of them get the job. I think, as I said before, they would both to a great job for UND.

Which will make them work harder for playing time. Seems like a real win-win situation. Somewhat curious as to how long had they been talking to him? Hard time believing they had not been watching him since last year. Have a good feeling about this.

He is just trying to keep his lead in posts on you. I wish I had a government job, you know the type of job the tax payers are paying for, that let me sit and post all day everyday and get paid to do it. Ripping off the tax payers is not a nice thing. There must be rules against this.

What a bunch of people who should never quit their day jobs for standup comedy. If you were even remotely clever it might be funny. But the lack of smart comebacks leaves much to be desired. Heck the high school aged hostess at the bar is much smarter than any of you.
