Something wrong with your post is Goodman plays inside LB while Jablonski plays outside LB.

We have good backs. No great ones. Three good ones, we'll see on Sparks later. They need better blocking though. The run blocking has been too inconsistent. Sure we're missing Kleason but we have other OLinemen that should be doing alot better and getting a push. Back to running back, we need a bigger back that is also dynamic. The only back that we have with moves is Garmin, Sutton and Miller have no wiggle. They are out there, we just need to do a better job of recruiting them. A guy 6' 210 and quick would do the job. Thanks for not letting me be the only one to expect alot more than a average season.

Our 3-4 scheme needs alot of production from the OLB's, we haven't had that in quite a while. Jablonski seems like a pretty natural pass rusher so maybe he needs more time in there blitzing. Bennett has way too much talent to have no production. Finely is big fast and strong and yet I have yet to see him smack somebody in two years of him getting reps. Maybe the answer will be the next crop of guys (Tuilongi Rich Jr. est.) but based on the talent level of the current crop we should be seeing more out of these guys. Also we're really missing Dan Hendrickson strutting around the field and then knocking other plays unconscious on KO coverage and then forcing a three and out.

It sucks to say this but I think the best DT on the team is Mike Edwards who is redshirting this year, he is a superb athlete and amazingly strong already. He might end up as the best DT we've ever had. The secondary is young and so are the LBs, they will be better next year and the year after.... that doesn't help us much this year.... The D doesn't try and kill people like they used to. Even last year at Fresno the D scared the crap out of their QB. They were flying around and coming from all angles. This year they look hesitant and don't bring the wood.

I've been wondering to myself if the 3-4 is still the right D for us? Maybe a 4-3 with Tampa two would help us avoid giving up the big play and put less pressure on our DBs

Last nights second half should be played at 2x speed with Yackity Sax as the soundtrack

the Rocco season pass will continue for me

I know, you should only post about hockey if thats all you know.

The team needs to find consistency. They're capable of playing with anyone anywhere and have shown glimpses of that. The problem is that they have yet to put in a full 4 quarters. Portland St was a game that should have been blown wide open easily, but it wasn't. The San Diego St. game could've been won with a sharper start, but it wasn't. The Sac St. game was decent but not complete by any means. The Poly game was two solid quarters sandwiched between a horrible slow flat start and no finish. Last night was a great start which was followed by 3.5 quarters of the worst football I've ever seen at UND. We were making mistakes like we were Winona St. If this team finds a way to put together full games they can win any game they play in. They just haven't shown it yet.

Because the penalty kill is too aggressive and the point man on power play holds on to the puck too much.
-
UND's entire football team didn't all of a sudden turn into Helen Keller, there are plenty of players who can play. There is talent on D, just no heart. You tackle with your heart.
-
This team wants to win, but they don't need to win. And that is the difference between average and greatness.
-
If I were coach Mannausau I'd be desperate to get some play out of the D..... they could cost him his job, Mussman's too for that matter
-
Is anyone shocked at the utter lack of heart and player leadership on this team? Last year the team had 10 times the heart of these guys and it showed. Goska couldn't throw a spiral but he was a leader. Hendrickson was the heart and soul of the defense. The team had an attitude, this year we look like some cupcake Pac 12 school in terms of physicality and heart. The coaches should show some film of NDSU to the team as an example of how the game is supposed to be played. Sure they're NDSU and I couldn't hate them more than I do, but they care so much more about how they play. It sickens me because you can see it in the body language and in the eyes of the players. They will do anything to win or even get on the field for that matter. Out team, D especially plays as if they deserve to be there and don't need to give every ounce of their soul to secure a win. The players should be doing everything possible to guarantee a win and that starts with effort. I'm a glass half full kind of guy for my teams but I really don't like what I saw tonight. It's gut check time, and don't expect a big crowd next week because nobody wants to watch that crap that I sat through tonight.

If LSU can't do it with an unreal D and ridiculous WRs than I wonder how any coach can ever consider it.
-
Man I hate when teams try to use two QBs. I've had to suffer through LSU trying to make it work for the past few years. PS. It never works. Ever.
-
Lets wait and see, that game is a ways away
-
Remember when they did the same thing with Frattin? That didn't work out until 3 years later... hopefully it works better this time.
-
It's always pixelated but better than radio
-
works fine for me with the Sac St game
-
What game are you trying to watch?
-
Funny thing is, the Sac St game was supposed to be a gunslinging shootout..... this game might not be, but I doubt that.

Prediction: A desperate and focused UND team will take care of business today. If the defense will ever have swagger this season they will show it today. The offense will be on point and the defense will make enough plays. EWU will also play well today so it will be a great game. UND 45 EWU 38

Jackson is one of our really good fr wrs. He's 6'3" 240 and is having a nice season so far.
