He doesn't look very strong so he should get faster as he gets stronger

A loss to sdsu means one less win on the season and makes it harder to make the playoffs. A loss to Und means humiliation for an entire year for losing to a school who doesn't care as much about football and is always 'less talented' and o by the way has been your most hated rival for a hundred years. The only thing that can knock ndsu off of its high horse right now is Und and they know that.

He looks pretty raw physically but seems to catch the ball with ease and looks comfortable finding soft spots to settle in for his qb

40 times are just as much about technique as they are about actual running ability. High schoolers in the Midwest usually don't know how to run a 40.

I'm not sure why they'd want to shorten his stride. That would make him easier to catch on a long run. They just need to beef him up so he gets faster and stronger and more explosive

I like his stride its quick but also long. Pretty smooth for a shorter guy. I'm not worried about his 40 time. Jake miller wasn't incredible in that respect out of Hs and now runs a 4.4

They need to recruit some grit. This years team is bordering on a finesse team compared to years past. If they're skilled and love to hit that's another story.

It just seems that way because um finishes or at least dominates while on the pp while Und doesn't consistently

This class won't be a complete success until we get a couple big stud lbs and some good athletes at db.

These two positions appear to have been locked up this weekend. Maybe Thurman would make a good playmaking zeke as has been suggested? And maybe we got a verbal from a DB out of Cali? Also had at least one TE on campus which is a must get position this year. Now we need to get a couple LBs and a WR and a RB to fill needs. After that its all about adding depth.

Yesterday was like Christmas. Another weekend that prolific and this team will be looking fantastic for the future

Probably has to do with Kuska not hitting his growth spurt til his sophomore year. It's just the tip of the iceberg as far as what he can do for us.

They don't test until after winter lifting and conditioning

Who would you consider the better prospect out of those two?

I have a good feeling about that changing next season with the young DLmen at the very least
