It's not a waste of a year. Either he starts the next 3 years or redshirts next year and starts later. He won't lose a year of playing time.

I've always wondered why McDavid has yet to make a hexpad wrist protection sleeve. That could be lucrative for them and a good thing for players. No more worrying about breaking your wrist on a slash or getting gashed by a skate.

The more local kids the better. Simo has already proven 10x more valuable than most expected. id much rather have a local kid who gets it and butts his ass than I highly touted recruit that only lasts 2 or 3 years.

4 blockers on 2 small guys and we failed to block either of them. Coaches will always like those odds. If we can't win a 2 on 1 blocking situations a failed fake punt is the least of our worries as was made apparent with Joe getting mauled.
