I didn't think Studsrud was all that bad considering he had 4 practices under his belt and was asked to throw almost exclusively on third and long. I like the way he moves and how he throws the ball. He'll be better next game and every other game he plays. He showed his potential yeaterday, the results weren't great but honestly how could they be. And yes, Hanson would probably have been worse, that's why they played Studsrud.

But a lot fewer than last year.

Play your best players. The seniors deserve it. The fans deserve it. The program deserves it.

Downtown Madison is a great place.

Our strength and conditioning staff is very good. Baukol and Schwenzfeier are top notch. The problem in the Mussman era was players weren't giving their all which kept them from getting the results they could have. I've heard that the last two classes have great work ethics unlike the previous ones which only had a few guys committed to strength and conditioning. Part of the reason NDSU is having such success is because their players are all in for strength and conditioning which translates directly onto the field.

What about when you guys no longer sell out every home game? My cousin was lamenting how he gave up a bunch of season tickets because nobody would go with him. Now he can't get any more and people are begging him to bring them to games. Eventually a UND game will be valued as a sure sellout and will be one of few sellouts in a year for NDSU.

Can't run with the idealized perception forever. Eventually reality sets in. Like we all know, right now NDSU has as good of a perception bs UND as they will ever have again.

Ironic isn't it, that UND literally only has to go toe to toe with NDSU to get their foot back in the door and eventually bring about the downfall of NDSUs current dynasty. Funny how Mussmans signature quote of ineptitude can sum up the end of an era.

I disagree. The idea of how bad NDSU would crush UND is priceless. UND gets to tarnish that next year and in the process start closing the gap in perception.

Unless it's 54 - 2 with an intentional safety and the third stingers putting up two scores Bison fans will complain. Even then they will find something most likely. Honestly though that's why NDSU is where they are, standards don't get higher.

If he doesn't play he'll redshirt.

It's not a waste of a year. Either he starts the next 3 years or redshirts next year and starts later. He won't lose a year of playing time.

Or they just view Studsrud as much better.
