  1. I'm not giving up on Sharp yet. He's young. He needs to learn patience and get stronger. He shows good burst and feet. He just needs time.
  2. There were a ton of WI and MN kids to leave the program out of those last two classes. Also I never said he recruited thee best players. He did, however get a lot of very good ones in his final two classes. He had just let the program slip too far away from legitimacy to keep most of them. Anyway, let's offer Trey Anderson to give Heidlbaugh some competition
  3. Mussmans last class was very good. The one before wasn't half bad either. Sure that one had a ton of attrition, for various reasons, but look at the players in those classes. They hit on some kids nobody had heard of. Compared to his previous classes it appears he was starting to figure out who to recruit. Bubba on the other hand had the figured out the second he took the job.
  4. It's why we sucked under Mussman. He realized it in his last two classes but by then it was too late.
  5. At the same time Id like to see our defense tee off on him next year.
  6. This would be kind of cool. I also wouldnt mind a different qb at EWU.
  7. As far as fans who are interested enough to go to a frozen four im not sure they would look for flights and immediately cancel if there wasn't a direct flight from where they live (not every UND fan lives in GF.)
  8. But would he be able to help the team sooner on offense as well as sp teams? Maybe start him there and plan to move him to d later unless he proves too valuable on o? But for all we know Georges and Dulin will be what we've been missing at wr.
  9. We have enough fans with enough money and enough interest to get as many if not more than any team to any neutral rink.
  10. I'll be very intrigued as to what role Smith would play if he comes here. He's such a dynamic athlete that maybe they'd consider giving him a shot at playing both ways?
  11. Sounds like an excuse
  12. No. You win your home state and area then suppliment if needed from other areas. We need to focus on ND MN WI and IL then suppliment that with a few kids here and there from FL TX CA or other places.
  13. What started as a cool story has soured thanks to someone running their mouth and getting personal. There's always Northland or Crookston if they want to come back to the area.
  14. To be fair, they are from here.
  15. Could find a picture of the one im thinking of. There are pictures of it in Memorial and on the sideline banners at the Alerus. This is an interesting old time jersey in this picture though. http://www.slate.com/content/dam/slate/blogs/the_eye/2015/01/12/150113_EYE_1.jpg.CROP.original-original.jpg
  16. I'm just hoping. I'll try and find a good picture.
  17. A 1930s throwback woukd be great. We had some very cool jerseys back then.
  18. Bout damn time. He needs to write about recruits like Schlossman does. Like about Olivera and his ridiculous stats or the plethora of ND recruits.
  19. I have no opinion on Heidlbaugh because I've never seen him play or seen his tape. I have seen Andersons tape and can say that I think he could be special. That's why I want him to get offered so bad. Until I see film of Heidlbaugh I'll continue to have no opinion.
  20. This is troublesome. We used to bring in high end guys every year and it seems we've missed on a lot of them recently and had to get excited over mid level guys. I miss the days of having a first rounder on the 4th line.
  21. If we don't offer Trey Anderson I will be beside myself.... He's an obvious D1 QB who would be out of our grasp had he not gotten injured.
  22. A mere 7 years ago we had OL that would demoralize other teams. We had gotten away from that and turned into a finesse passing team for a few years. Bubba brought back defense and the ground and pound and your son is joining a group of big, mean, and hungry dudes ready to reestablish UNDs football dominance.
  23. Your son is gonna be a monster after a summer with coach Baukol.
  24. I had heard he was healthy now.
  25. Snap issues cost us early in the year. The OL did improve 10 fold by the end of the year. There are some very good young players on the line that showed some major promise last year and Anderson has been our best OL of the past 3 years so there is potential. I just feel like coach Knapf is going to have his group ready to maul people by fall. He took a dumpster fire and turned them into a running weapon by the end of the year.
