It's all about getting to their qb early like last year.

I'd say the winning has had an immediate impact. We're averaging over 2000 more fans/game than last year. That's not too shabby. If we do that again next year we'll be at borderline sellouts each game. Bubba is working magic and it's only his third year.

It's impressive that after losing Ratelle and two CBs the defense is still markedly better than last season. Wasn't sure if that would happen.

Brad handed off once to Brady and then Bartels came in on that series.

Football translates better to TV than hockey. It's not the same discrepancy it was before HD but it's still a difference.

So salty. Brady should have had more carries. He's better against the stacked box than Santiago since he gets the extra 1-3 after contact. I absolutely hate when they make Brady go east and west though, he's not a side to side guy, if the blocking isn't perfect he gets destroyed.

I'd rather not have Brady as a lead blocker. No need for extra wear and tear with no buy week.

After re watching the game I noticed that Norberg had a terrible game blocking. Santiago multiple time beat the unblocked man only to be tackled by Norbergs. The OL is sealing the edges but we've been one block away from some huge plays way too many times this season.

Is the boring style of play why the attendance is up by an average of 2000/game?

To be fair the depth chart say Heidelbaugh or Bartels as the #2.

Would a 100 yard kickoff return for a TD count as a big play?

I don't even care if the fast guy drops a few the fact that he would actually have speed to threaten over the top is enough to open everything up. And even though our backs are studs we need to be able to pass to keep the defense from going with 8 and sometimes 9 in the box. We need balance.
