A playoff bye would end up being more like 3 weeks between games. Sure we would be well rested but we'd run into a team that was sharp enough to win a playoff game the week before. I'd say it's a good thing if we can get a w in that first game because our guys would have the advantage of the extra week of rest over other teams late in the playoffs. It's a true catch 22. Let's just beat NAU.

We should reiterate that we don't know everything that went in to this situation. Could be as simple as a reaction with a med or supplement and alcohol. That would at least be the positive way to look at it.

Stockwell needs the buy week worse than anyone. He's been playing hurt damn near the whole season.

For the record I would be even more disappointed if it were a "star" player. I really hope there is more to the story.

Not sure if anyone has noticed since most of our energy is spent yelling at Rudolph, but the defense hasn't given up more than 24 points since USD.

He's still not a good enough skater either. Needs to add at least an extra gear. Whatever Jost does to have that small area agility Boeser should do.

Anything with Hextall is great. Probably my all time favorite UND player.
