Don’t let the door hit you in the FUPA on the way out

I wish. I’ll take this move as addition by subtraction. Really though, getting rid of Faison will probably help with fund raising.

Sonic does have excellent drinks and ice cream. The food tends to go to !@#$ for some reason after a couple months of being open. Happened in Fargo. Never been a fan of their food at all.

This should be interesting. Also very curious that everything was done orally to avoid open records requests. Very cheeky. http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/4344697-und-expected-address-athletics-future-1030-am-press-conference

10,000? You mean 6,000?

Weren't very irrelevant last year when we got that seed then choked. That makes what has transpired this year sting. This was a year we needed to prove last year wasn't a flook, and the wheels fell off.
-
To be fair, they had some unreal teams that were healthy and laid eggs in the frozen four...... but they did actually get there. Can't choke in the semis if you never get there.
-
Look at the EWU game from that year. The results were polarizing. Marcus shredded EWU on the first drive. Then they put in Hanson who was a sitting duck. After trying to platoon them for a few series Marcus told them to just pick one. They chose Hanson and we got blown out.

I don't agree with that last part. Either you have it or you don't regardless of size or experience. Like Kuksa before he broke his neck. True fr but had something in him that others didn't.

Sweet Tea is an abomination. No thanks.

I know I've said this before but I think we have too many nice guys on this team. Or at least guys who play like nice guys. We need a bunch of dogs out there. I just don't see enough of them right now.
-
And plenty of room on campus for expansion too.
-
I think he's got the athleticism but to be a good LB you need to be mean and physical. Kinda tough to show those qualities as a backup qb.
-
Lawrence does pretty well at his size but it's tough for guys his size to hold up in the run game.
-
If we were healthy at OLB we wouldn't be small. 230-240 is about right and that's where most of our top guys are. Rastas is the one that is really undersized. Being fast on the edge is fine but being too small is not. We shouldn't have a bunch of OLBs under 210lbs.
-
Montana did not pull their starters at halftime. Nothing to ponder here.
-
NDSU basically has their entire team in town all summer long. They make it work.
-
Even though our guys are young, at certain positions I question the body types we have out there. Some of our DEs look like LBs. They need to add 20lbs minimum basically across the board. Our OLBs are a bunch of converted safeties with the exception of Haas and Lawrence. Even those guys could use a good 20 lbs. Haas has the frame to carry 250 no problem. ILBs are a little better with Rodgers, Larson, and Hunt. Rastas needs to add at least 30lbs. Our safeties are smallish as well. Again, 20 lbs for most of them. At corner the size of most of our guys is ok but they either need to get stronger or tougher. OLB and DE are the two biggest size concerns for me.

I'd like to see him at LB. If he can move well enough and is tough enough he could be really good.
-
Reminds me of the Hanson vs Hendrickson situation from 2012. The team felt Hendrickson was better. The coaches leaned towards Hanson.
-
I’d play for him. For a bit there he sounded like coach Berg back at Central.
-
Not too bad. Pretty clearly says Zim was better. Didnt exactly say he should be the backup though. http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/4343814-another-rough-day-fighting-hawks#.WeK-Qh9IdDE.twitter

Pelini iced the kicker and he missed his iced attempt. Then nailed the next one.

Ott has a really nice twitch. I hope he and the other fr are hitting the weights extra hard and licking their chops to leapfrog the underachieving upperclassmen
