Our qbs haven’t been abused by a DL like that in my memory. One guy had 4 sacks.

Impossible to know anything beyond that play obviously. But we do know the entire game would have been played very differently.

NDSU threw out to the flat and the ball went slightly backward down the line. It was low and the WR muffed the shoelace catch. The ball was on the ground and a DB picked it up and scampered into the end zone. The refs blew it dead as an incomplete pass. NFL refs would have erred on the fumble side to preserve the ability to review.

If you count the fumble for a TD they should have had 10.

Again, Weber took it. Their DL was all over the qb for Montana.

I think this kid is a real sleeper. Very elusive and a nice release. I think we’re his only D1 offer.

That’s been their story so far in the playoffs. Just grind games out on the ground.

Vaughn would be a huge pickup. Need competition at qb.

Pretty sure he redshirted because he broke his other collar bone as a fr. Late in his career he had lost a couple of steps. His first two years he had good speed though and would test the defense deep a few times a game.

I’m not as familiar with the D2 eligibility but it’s different. D1 has the 5 year clock.

I suppose D2 is a little different with eligibility so that would be how he’s listed as a junior.

I was looking at their DL hoping there would be a 300 lb stud just sitting there for us to poach. Joe Carpenter was second team all NSIC as a nose - 6’ 295. That intrigues me. Interesting to note, Kraklow was at Northern Illinois before St Cloud St.
