Not sure where we sit scholarship wise but just looking at what we have verballed and what we need more of I’d say we need: another NG, a DE, 2 more QBs, a taller safety, a CB, a blazing fast wr taller than 5’6”, and an H back.

On at least one occasion we could have absolutely gashed Davis with a fake punt. We were relatively close to mid field with a 4th and 8 or so and their whole coverage team turned their backs and ran at the snap with the exception of a few guys at the line. We would’ve gained at least 30 yards.

Height is becoming less of a requirement for qbs with the way offenses are evolving. You still see a guy like Murray getting more balls batted than Brady obviously for the reasons you stated above but the classic drop back qb hanging in the pocket is becoming more rare, even in the nfl.

He’s just kinda sneaky and slippery. That goal line run last week was a good example. He just slid between tackles.

Gee has been better than solid. Very pleased with his play. Like a bigger slower Jake Miller. Very similar running style.

Brees has a squirt gun for an arm, accurate as anyone ever though. I guess it depends on what you mean by arm talent. Power is only one component and not the most important one.

Tough to tell how tall a guy really is based on Hs film. Elijah Beach drunk 2” when he got to campus. Ogbu shrunk 4” when he got to NDSU.

No way in hell he’s a legit 6’2”. Kinda like Tank was listed at 6’3”

After viewing this video we’re very fortunate Leech made that kick. The hold was not good at all. Laces pointed back at the kicker and off to the side a bit. That makes a huge difference on ball flight.

Did he not get enough you he’s that last two games? How many is enough? Still waiting for him to make a game breaking play.

Offense needs to take another step in this game. Danny seems to be finding a nice grove in games. Need better execution from players and less going into a shell at critical moments.

Going conservative literally hands the other team momentum. Unless we are able to get 4ypc when they know it’s coming and sprinkle in pa pass, which we can’t do this year at all when the other team is keying on the run.

I’m comparing to soph Deion since he didn’t red shirt. But he also had the game experience so that’s a factor as well. Either way cj is just as good as I hoped he would be.

He so much better than soph Dieon though. Not even close.
