Not at all I just thought it was funny the posts claiming that their Sioux Fan Father, Grand Fathers etc. says it is ok so there are no issues. I stated my opinion. I'm guessing if you asked Vet's from other fan bases or non sports fan's you would get a mix. Some would say I fight for the right for Americans for be free and express themselves however they please. You would also have some that would feel disrespected. You have the right to your opinion and I'm not going to be able to change it.

Never is a long time, but I don't see anything changing for a very long time. I'm not offended, very little offends me. Like a stated before I'm more embarrassed for our university.

You don't know me. For the record I think the PC stuff going on in the country is crap. I don't see this as a PC issue. To me it is more of a respect for the country. It is a free country, you can do what you want. I just think it make us look bad. Just like NFL players can do what they want during the anthem, it sheds a bad light on the NFL.

You can't be serious? I sure the first couple shift after they hear Sioux are tough. Feeling are not hurt one bit. I'm embarrassed for our fan base. I attended the game Saturday night hear the traditional Sioux at the end. Then 5 minutes into the game they announce the seats for solders and everyone stands up and claps. I laughed to myself, what a butch of hypocrites we are.

Prepare to rip me, but in light of the anthem protests the "Sioux" at the end of the anthem needs to go. It is disrespectful and very embarrassing.

I have never heard anyone sing the anthem better than he has. I does not make the song about him, it doesn't take him forever to sign the song. You sings every word clearly. I don't care to have anyone ever sing at the Ralph as long is he is available.

MN would be happy with a split. Anything less than a tie and win is unacceptable.

I expect a sweep, but only but scores of 3-2 and 3-1. We outshoot them badly each game. Until someone proves they can put the puck in the net I don't see more than 3 goals a game scored.

I'm pretty sure the last few times Und played in Alaska the games were picked up. Hope that is the case this year.

My point being under former rules they would lose their time out if they lost a challenge. Same effect as calling a time out to rest players. I hate the new rule just my opinion.

I pretty sure if you lost a chalange you lost your time out for the game. To me that is enough. It seems the NHL is trying to correct a problem when there wasn't one.

This might be the dumbest NHL rule change ever. They are going to penalize a team for not seeing things the same way as a ref. I've seen too many times a play not get over turned when everyone except the ref sees it the other way.

Any idea when Rodgers might be back. I had heard broken leg, but that would be mean out for season wouldn't it? Any chance he is back soon?

What did Tank Harris do to get his unsportsmanlike contact penalty? I thought it was a boneheaded play, but did not see what he did.

In the Bathroom at half time of the Missouri State game I over heard someone say "Well I think this proves we are ready to compete in the MVFC". I just laughed and shook my head. Fan's will over react both way's. I confident that Bubba will get us to the point to compete and win the MVFC, after last week we are not there yet. Every year under Bubba we have gotten better, just need to keep trending in the right direction.

If we have 3 loses or less and he is 100% healthy I think he needs to play. If nothing else it would be nice for him to get 1/2 season under his belt before next season. We can worry about 4 year from now at that time. Hopefully we have much better depth at LB.

We don't have 12k+ die hard fan's. If we did this thread wouldn't exist. For people to spend their hard-earned money and time they expect to have a good time. A lot of people have other things going on in their lives and when UND puts up a stinker like that UND football moves further down on their priority list. Just a fact. I'm a diehard UND fan for all sports and plan to be at the game this weekend. Any win of the rest of the year until the playoffs is going to be dismissed as a win against a team in a weak conference. Need to make playoffs and win a game or 2 to be seen as quality football team.

With an odd number of teams, at least 1 team needs to have a bye week every week during the conference season. Looks like some teams have scheduled a non-conference game during their bye week and take their bye earlier in the year. Montana St for Example.

A lot of tickets sold, but I wonder how many tickets will go unused after last weekend. Guessing announced attendance will be far greater than actual attendance. UND has a lot to prove. If they play similar to last weekend, this season will be ugly quickly.
