Yeah they are, but do you really think they would be able to get enuff people out of the U.P. to drive all the way to the big city of Ann Arbor for a football game. Its about 5 hours from the bridge to AA. MTU does have a lot of alumni in the Detroit Metro Area, but not the same with NMU. GVSU has a sizeable alumni base though, plus they're only 2 hours away. Very doable roadtrip for us. And if you saw us in Alabama, you knows we love us some roadtrips!!!

You are kidding right??? GVSU is the biggest draw in the GLIAC man. You know how we travel man. The Bash at the Big House is a cherity game for MTU. They need every butt they can draw to the game, Bash at the Big HouseI'm not sure on ticket numbers yet, last I hear it might be somewhere around 30,000 perhaps.

Guys, quit making fun of the Sister Mary's of the Poor up there in Yooperland. Money is tight with them and this is their chance to become a little more competive in Hockey once again. You know, somewhere around 7-4 score game against UND perhaps. Besides, its thanks to MTU alumni like Mr. Opie there, (gotta love Yooper names!! ) that I'll get to say that my football team will go into Michigan Stadium this year, and will be the favorate to win there. How often does that happen??

Thanks SMN! I'm still kinda mad that Cowboy didn't get a good shot of me with the new Bolts on. They are big enuff to do Mister T proud!! Oh, and the game was in Big Rapids, its not littering if the place is already a dump. Actually, some little kid was running around picking them up from underneath the bleachers and stuff. He would get a huge armful of them and just hand them to the GV students that where there.

Oh, this is just me ragging on a team that I Really don't like. Its because they worry about their Drinking team more than their Football team at Ferris! the Monster leading the Laker Nation when we took over the Dawg Pound. In the second half, Top Taggert there felt more like Lubbers to me. You boys are going to be licking their chops at what you can do to a team that won't have a lot of people traveling with them.

Grand Valley beat up Ferris State tonight 24-6. I did think that GV did come out looking a little flat, and they did show signs of rust, but they turned in a good effort against the Bulldogs, who got the shock of their lives after halftime to walk out onto their field, only to see GV students had taken over the FSU student section and booing them. Most of their students left after GV scored to make it 21-0. They might be able to take that humiliation and use it as a good motivation for the rest of the season, just if they can get it together in the next week or two. If not, then, I really see the Sioux in that dome of yours, Shreading them. Somehow I think that little dream of mine of Ferris pulling off the upset on you guys which would guarontee that the Lakers stay home in the playoffs, won't be happening.

I know, perhaps we're both greedy. If I was cheering for UND in 2001 was awesome. However, I was cheering for GVSU, and I was holed up in my apartment craming for exams that weekend, the game pretty much my only break. That week sucked for me!!!

I didn't enjoy that play so much. It only lets me say 2 NC > 1 NC, and that now we're tied up 1-1, instead of 2-0.

Hey! That's Sag. Valley's sctich there!!! G... V... S... Who? They had a bunch of T-shirts with that printed up and handed out to their students. Supposedly, it wasn't them copying the Whiteout that GVSU did when they beat us in the regular season. Either way, we won the playoff rematch at their place, and laughed on our way out at this idiot Saggy fan with the t-shirt on was out on the main drive out of there, swearin', yellin', cursin' and hoppin' around all mad in general. It was quite funny!!!

That sure would make a lot more sense there BananaOil. If anybody saw any of the first round playoff game between Bentley and GVSU, it would be pretty clear to them that they ain't exactly D2 elite yet. The only reason why the score was even as close as it was because of the f'ning PSAC reffs trying to make GVSU look bad, so it wouldn't be seen as such an obvisious ploy to send the GLIAC west so they don't get bounced out early all the time now.

Oh, I'm sure you could find some other team's Lard butt to make fun of. Do something really mean like duct tape a box of Chicken McNuggets to a fishing poll, and dangle it into the penalty box, or the opposing bench, just out of reach.

The Lakers, from what I've been able to gather, are looking pretty good in their camp. I just wished that Cowboy had taken some more shots from there. Our remodeled stadium is almost ready as well. It will be even more of a place where other teams fear to play!! Campus Update 4.0
