McFooly says whatever he thinks will generate some angry clicks.

$1 million endowment will generate approximately $40,000 per year, so about 2 full scholarships. Everything helps and those who give are greatly appreciated!

Used to just ship them off to Australia. Modern option seems to be California/Portland.

https://www.grandforksherald.com/news/local/city-business-leaders-want-more-data-centers-in-grand-forks-what-does-that-mean While much of the country is reevaluating support for data centers due to the increased electrical costs they push onto residents, Grand Forks appears to be pushing for more.

Bek, Walsh, Hancock, and Squires are gone. Johnstone and Fulton are on the chopping block. Mcvey and West were replaced. Looks like Fulton might already be shut down.

Good that apps are up. Bad that we tore down a bunch of dormitories without new housing in place.

Agreed that a constitutional amendment vote would likely fail, but Mayville and Bottineau should both be closed. Williston, Bismarck, and Lake Region (Devils Lake) are not in the constitution, but of those, only Devils Lakes could even be considered for closure at this point.

Can anyone confirm?

It looks like the paper did avoid using her name, but I suppose it's obvious to those who know them. There is quite a bit of detail in there for a domestic violence story, with the hospital's report to the PD, victim's statement, etc. Hopefully it doesn't discourage future victims from seeking care.

It'd be great to see some advertisements on NCHC.TV and cut the cost a bit.

Correct. No change in state funding for credits the institution is charging reduced or no tuition and fees for.

Waivers are reductions in revenue. There is no donation associated with them.

Back in the day the teachers taught one lesson plan for the entire class. Now they have individualized education programs (IEPs) that target each individual student. That plus less respectful and more poorly behaved students means the teachers need as many helpers/paras in the classroom as they can get.

Never mind. He's going to Northern Michigan.

Our DL couldn't get to the QB and the DBs lost almost every jump ball challenge throughout the season. I'm not saying they're incapable, but they were often in a position to make a play that wasn't made this year. Hopefully another offseason of weights and a bad taste in their mouth from the way the season ended is enough, along with some scheme changes, to cut the 3rd and 20+ conversion rate under 15% next year.

Yes, it would be deductible for a business.
