I realize siouxsports doesn't have nearly the level of dumb posts as bisonswille so the standard is a little different, but if Jamestown can have a daily newspaper, I think Grand Forks can manage. We're not there yet (may not even be there in 15 years), but Grand Forks will start losing a lot more coverage eventually, as the focus will be on Fargo. Wouldn't even need a physical paper, just a website with Grand Forks news.

I've only noticed one poster rag on Aplin, and he often posts in all-caps, so I don't give anything he says any merit.

Also, the tables on Fremont are cheaper (lower minimums) than the Strip if you're looking to gamble.

Although he struggled with drops early, Toivonen has been an important check down option for Kett this season. Need Stanley, Maag, or someone else to fill that role.

Probably true. I don't recall what Faison did for the Madison Square Garden game, but that was during UND's first DI playoff game ever, so I'm not sure it's really comparable either. Chaves has already built up more goodwill with all-sports fans than Faison ever had, so I guess I'm willing to give him a pass here.

8 of their 21 sacks came in the USD game, so it's a little skewed, but they do get after the QB apparently. FWIW, zero sacks in their last game against MSU.

Based only on a quick look at the stats from their games, it looks like they're pretty good all-around on D. Very good against the run and hold QBs to around 50% completion. Also forcing around 2 interceptions per game.

Weber gave up 28 to UNC, 28 to NAU, and 24 to MSU. We gave up 13 to UNC, 14 to UM, and 15 to Sac St. I expect those trends to continue....

I'm not sure Weber is better than Idaho State overall, but defensively, this will be the best team we've played since Washington.

Sounds like Weber has a really good kick return game....
