With Wanzek and Toivonen both Juniors, we do need to get another big to go with Maag after next season. Pifer and Burian could also be fighting for the spot. Crazy to think we only get one more season with those 2 already.

Good point. I view T. Denny as much more capable of single-handedly financing a DI move than the hospital.
-
Does Denny actually give a sh*t about Auggie? Or is it just the Sanford Health president that cares?
-
WR probably? Or does he have potential at safety/OLB?

What does wearing gear have to do with anything? Are they saying that affected fan acceptance of the new league?

I like just moving them over 1 section for now as well. I had earlier suggested moving the band more towards midfield, but what are everyone's thoughts on having the band stay in 212 and forming the heart of the student section between 211 and 213?
-
Let's switch the student section and the band section.

Alerus, Bremer, and Gate City all have a good presence. Alerus is headquartered in Grand Forks though, so I'd give them the nod.

Based on 2015, it seems the selection committee is definitely influenced by the polls.

There were many who questioned Blubaugh's ability last year, but I believe there were 2 posters who straight up said he didn't belong in DI football. One of those is always rosy here so you can probably guess. Looks like you and @AJS were Blubaugh's bigger defenders.

Curious if a DI Auggie would affect funding for SDSU, USD, and perhaps even NDSU. Those schools are all tied to Sanford and the SD schools are all angling for the Sioux Falls market. Would they support letting a crappy little school with no endowment start slicing into the pie?
-
UND shouldn't be associating itself with Auggie.

It's a gopher thing.

If they get in the summit, we need to go back to the bsc.

Sounds like the intent was to leave it broad/open so the legislature can do its job and craft laws around it. Unfortunately the lack of rules written into the measure (which everybody who's complaining now would've complained about anyway had they been included) makes the statement technically true. Big fear campaign going on now, which occurs with every cannabis ballot initiative in every state.
