I know you're not serious, but a HC should never simply be moved down. Unfortunate sometimes, but he has to be removed completely if no longer HC, otherwise players and coaches will continue looking to him and undermine new HC.
Agreed, the staff had no choice but to go for it. No way we were making a field goal from there. That's another problem the staff failed to address in the off season.
Sounds good. Anywhere that it can be a combination hockey trip and winter vacation should work. I don't have much desire to visit Seattle in October- April.
The champions club priority certainly factored into this, but yes, these games should be targeted to the crowd with the money. Minnesota being the opponent in Vegas was a definite perk.
I like Seattle, but I think that would be a mistake. New York and Vegas both draw travelers on their own and offer a lot to tourists. DC (capital tourism) and Orlando (Disney, Universal, beach) would be great. Not sure Seattle would have that draw.
I'd go for DC, Phoenix, and Orlando (with Vegas mixed in) after Nashville. DC and Orlando both make for good tourist spots that give people an extra reason to travel. Phoenix is easy to get to and full of alumni.
Again, we've seen the WR position group absolutely decimated over the course of 3 weeks. Coaching staff needs to look at what that position group has been doing for S&C that could be contributing.
Agreed
Thought it was interesting that in his interview with Katie between periods coach Shaw put all the blame for the pp on the players. No "I need to review film" or "we need to tweak x". All blame on others.
