One issue, and I hope it's not the only reason, could be money. Scheduling the away portion of a home and home for 2019 means around $100,000 in extra travel cost for 2019. Scheduling an fbs money game would mean another likely loss. And paying another non scholly fcs to come to the Al would also be around a $100,000 loss.

And it's been happening for years. This wasn't a new issue.

Bubba certainly wanted a conservative offense. However, a competent conservative offense still throws the ball to the RBs and TEs. There is absolutely no way Bubba told Rudy to never run screens and never pass to the TEs. That was on Rudy and should improve going forward. Unfortunate that it's coming too late to use 2 of the best RBs in UND history.

I'd want to take a look at coaches from Duluth and Mankato, along with other FCS squads.

Perhaps Bubba will have more confidence in a new OC dialing up a play. Not sure of the exact number, but our 4th down conversion rate didn't seem very good this year.

Guy apparently from Minot, who thought Bolinske and Heidelbaugh were good QBs, suddenly has no faith in Bubba after Rudy is fired?
