Yeah, bad advice from his HS coach from a development standpoint. I have a hard time blaming the kid for wanting to play HS hockey with his friends though. He may regret it in the future, but maybe it'll work out for him.

I don't disagree the team made it easy for him, but it's tough to be upset about 5-600 yards and 40 points.

Hmm, I thought our salaries weren't supposed to be competitive with mvfc schools, but that's what Kostich makes. Were bridges burned upon his prior departure?

Although I wish Rudy had been fired 12 months ago (or better yet, never hired), it may have been difficult to justify firing him shortly after putting up 38, 41, and 41 points through the middle of our schedule.

Doesn't help that a single ticket for a mediocre seat often runs around $200 for NFL games.

Although the ndsu game provides a great opportunity to prove himself, a lot depends on the players on the field there, even more than normal IMO. Players will need to remain focused, tune out the crowd, and execute better than ever.

I hope he retains WR duties or takes on TEs instead. I'd like to see a QB coach who isn't also saddled with OC duties.

Hopefully he can call a competent game in addition to being good with recruits. New territory for him and I'm sure there will be stumbles, but hopefully he'll put the players on the roster in a position to succeed.

Skokna, a 5'9" 175# RB, had offers from Brown, Stetson, USD, SDSU, EKU, EIU, & WIU.

In addition to 2 missed FGs, Lamar had 2 weak fumbles in the red zone in the 2nd half. Lots of "gifts" for UNI. Hopefully UC Davis is ready to play next week.

I think they said we're 5-2 against ranked teams and 1-3-1 against unranked. So....
