the a10 is losing temple, uncc, dayton, and butler, and by my count will still have 12 members remaining. Do they even add new members? (probably)
-
what the selling point on fat alberts? I'd be more than willing to try it.
-
so, is there anywhere to get a good, or even decent, deep dish pizza in grand forks?
-
the atlantic 10 is looking south from what i understand (davidson, richmond, others), so its entirely plausible that the summit/ovc/mvc/horizon see no movement out of this. If Creighton moves, they get replaced by oral roberts, and no other moves. for the record, I'm not a particularily big fan of the mvc. I don't think there is a summit team that would be in the top10 candidates to replace creighton.

we have a good clime, in case you missed it. If the climate gets worse, we can always fix it then, but this is nothing more than a handout to out-of-state companies. if anything, we should be raising the extraction tax, not lowering it.

i had some fun bureaucratic games with the graduate school a couple years ago, and i was contacted by some of 'those people' who wanted to use me as part of their campaign to undermine the sbohe. I told them to get bent ofc.

fargo does have alot more snow than grand forks right now, but its nowhere near 2009 *yet*
-
my general feeling is that this is going to affect the caa/socon more than the summit/mvc/etc

Yes, the current diversion was not the cheapest option but the only one that could happen. I'm not sure how people think farmers come out so poorly here, most years the flood will be mild, but even in the bad years which might be more frequent, they will still get something planted and some federal money on the side.

300k is pretty mediocre for a marque fcs team, but this would jive with them looking at the last minute for some extra cash. re: darell: if MSU got into this bad of shape, someones head should probably roll either way.
-
there were 'spirit week' placards u on campus, so i would lean in the direction of something to do with the spirit campaign.

thank you for sharing your engineering expertise. The people who actually know what they are talking about appear to disagree.
-
4-5, 6-3, 7-4 against d1 schools and were ranked for a substantial portion of their transition.
-
not a big fan of it. You'll note that we were talking about americans, and those aren't americans. China is a contemptible state, and NK is probably worse.
-
robert byrd was in the kkk for a couple years in the late 40's and it dogged him his entire life. Every conversation about robert byrd i've ever been apart of has gone down the KKK path even if it wasn't relevant, and continues to dog him 3 years after he died. So much for forgiveness. As for the idiots, 1 day iss and a letter of apology to the student body at both schools should be more than adequate.
-
these grievances aren't historic. Forgiveness should never be confused with acquiescence.
-
are the chinese or north koreans still actively torturing americans, because the KKK still exists, and does anti-black racism.
-
are you trying to argue that tea-partiers (dullest party ever imo) didn't have control over their choice to be 'tea-baggers?' Even I don't look down on them that much.
-
count me on the no-to-the-mvc crowd. This is no news around here but i think the i-29 schools plus unc, denver, and wiu would make a nice conference. yeah ncc2.0 blah blah blah.
-
i believe chicago still has limited voting rights in the big ten, and they are a member of the cic. memory is pretty hazy though. if the b1g is ever going to have an affiliate, john hopkins makes as much sense as any. i would have preferred pitt or syracuse over rutgers though, and better yet neither.
-
you should really add some teleprompter, lipstick on a pig, and Benghazi references, because you don't come across as stupid enough yet.
-
because ndsu had a proven coaching staff and institutional commitment? Even in the 6-5 season their biggest margin of defeat was 10 points at uni, who was a semi-final team that year.
-
siu's defense pumped out big play after big play last year, and made the difference in their season. if digger had anything to do with that, I'm more than game.
-
UNO's season looks alot like ours, started 2-10, 6-4 the last 2 games. We started 2-10 as well, 8-4 over the last 12. This will be on espn3, right?

I loved the old ralph. Might not have all the bells and whistles, but the games seemed so much more fun.
