  1. I presume these states will all work to be more like Florida. Whether it was Republican/ Democrats at fault, they should get this process cleaned up like Florida appears to have done.
  2. There would be rioting lol but im not sure it'd be more/less correct. Hopefully the recounts show a lot of flawed ballots that can be tossed. Its very possible though that people liked Republican house and senate figures more than Donald. Hopefully the crossover appeal continues with the minority groups, Hispanics in particular. With what appears to be substantial GOP gains in the house and avoiding a Senate Wipeout, pretty much all the progressive dreams are dead on arrival. Dem house members will have to be careful in what they even support, because midterms will likely be very favorable to the GOP.
  3. Some journalists have received a wake-up call. Others like those at NYT and MSNBC have simply expanded the meaning of whiteness now to include Cubans and right-leaning Hispanics. These people need help.
  4. As long as the GOP has the Senate, I don't think he'll be able to do much. No potential statehood for DC or PR. No adjustment to the courts. No big changes. The likelihood of a Red house in '22 and a likely Kamala Harris candidacy in '24 is very appealing.
  5. See, optics alone here aren't good. I understand turnout was up throughout the US, but people are going to try to tell me that turnout in Milwaukee was that high? I'm not gonna go conspiracy theorist yet because that is pretty silly to do, but if those numbers are right, things start looking bad.
  6. the funny thing was...none of them were even close.
  7. Hayduke has got to be beyond devastated. His party spent hundreds of millions to take the senate back, and all they got was a corrupt astronaut and a dude who watches porn with his mom. McConnell wins by 20+, Graham won by the same amount he did last time, Susan Collins won pretty easily, Cornyn, Daines, Ernst, etc lol. Dems dumped money into those places and got nothing. If Biden wins, as looks likely, he gets the privilege of spinning his chair in circles in the oval office while McConnell shuts everything down. House may flip in 2022, and if the Dems run Harris in 24 like they'll be pressures to, I expect the GOP to be favored there as long as they run a fairly normal GOP type. For the progressive wing of the Democrat Party, this outcome is bad. (Assuming things generally hold here)
  8. No. Watching Minnesota burn is pretty fun at this point.
  9. No. Relish in the chaos. It keeps things fun. No. The only thing the Feds do that is worth a damn is kill people who hate us. As a former government contract guy, we definitely waste obscene amounts there, but at least the end goal is baller AF. So far, this election is looking lit. If Trump hits 270 and GOP holds the Senate....the United States is in a solid spot for another 2-4 years.
  10. Not familiar with PA statute or case law but I would think curing a ballot should be no Bueno from my admittedly biased perspective.
  11. Dems lit a !@#$ ton of money on fire there.
  12. FLORIDA. hell yea
  13. Voted at the civic center with an out of state ID and supplemental documents and it still only took 5-10 minutes.
  14. Dude is an idiot. One would think as a lawyer AND politician he'd understand the dilemma that statement presents, particularly in a swing state. Not sure if its grounds for removal but its grounds to not take him serious for the remainder of his career in or out of politics because that shows a lack of integrity.
  15. I crack up at my classmates that are die hard New Yorkers. Won't even consider jobs outside of Manhattan. It's going to be very funny when they are "living the dream" in a 1 bedroom apartment while the ones who go out into the wider world will almost certainly have a significantly better setup.
  16. You seem nervous.
  17. Did they do anything wrong? I seem to recall Democrat politicians encouraging people to harass Republican politicians they saw in public to let them know they aren't welcome here anymore. Like many actions Democrats seem to cheer or at least tolerate (harassing politicians, nuking judicial filibuster, protesting on roadways, etc), they sure don't like when the shoe is on the other foot.
  18. Do you sit on MSN every day just scrolling through looking at "Orange Man Bad" articles? Everyone is expecting litigation arising out of the election if it's close which it may or may not be. Kinda a weird year, lots of mail-in voting and the virus and all that is going to make things goofy. The Feds putting up extra fences for the time being is not some huge deal in context. Have you seen the preparations local property owners have taken? Assuming you have, then wouldn't it also make sense for the Feds to take steps to ensure the safety of the most famous house in the world?
  19. No. There is more to it than that though.
  20. "Voter suppression" is a joke.
  21. Lol something tells me those bills include other goodies and/or Mitch has his reasons. Dude is a political animal and I can't think of a more effective leader in Congress. Lol no, why would I take a third-world language? I'm from the United States, English is just fine thanks.
  22. you should want McConnell as the senate leader. Dude is the best thing to happen to the Senate in generations.
  23. I dont think any Republican campaign would ever raise a white flag in Florida only to dump money into Minnesota. I suppose it's possible they think Florida voters have made up their mind and any money is now a waste while Minnesota is an opportunity? Who knows. I'd love to be a campaign chief or whatever. You get to be wrong all the time like a weatherman and just say "Yeah we just didn't get the turnout we needed" or "yeah our message really resonated with the people in Wisconsin"
  24. I believe the concept is if Democrats are spending time in Minnesota that could reasonably point to concerns within the party. FWIW, I read Trump's campaign pulled money OUT of Florida and was putting it into MN. Maybe they have a shot lol
  25. I hated getting traded back and forth like the fat kid neither team wants in gym class lol. The other bad thing was we had no rivals for football. Not sure about other sports, I wrestled and thats individual so rivals weren't really based on towns really, though some middle aged women taught us a few new swear words whenever we'd wrestle up in Carrington lol.
