I was referring to the players body language during the game. I said they looked to me like they were checked...as in it was a casual observation not that they were "automatically " disengaged. Schuster has shown that he can make plays with protection from the offensive line. OL is the source of the current run of difficulties, along with the defensive secondary against Utah State.

Haven't been able to pop Otis for big gains all seasons. Seems the offensive linemen that left in the Spring are missed as badly as was feared.

Been rooting for und in this game since the early 60s. I recall a howling north wind on game day 1966. My family, after considerable deliberation, deciding to make the drive from Fargo. Bison won 18-15. I anticipate a similar result, unfortunately. The Hawks haven't shown the consistency in big games needed in recent years to allow me to predict otherwise.
