I know but my thought is that losing a couple talented receivers should take a back seat to building the team from the lines out. This is where the new coach should begin. I am okay with a couple years of boring grind it out football if that is what it takes.

We don't know this for sure...a solid offensive and defensive line will go a lot further than a couple talented receivers.

Exactly! I am not against Bubba as our coach but I am against waiting so long and leaving the players filled with uncertainty. If they hire him after this long wait I want answers as to why.

I trust Faison knows what he is doing but my fear is that this process is taking so long it just makes it easier for guys like Golladay to get talked into leaving.

To be honest this is not a bad thing. The University has no control over this and none of the stories have pointed toward the U provoking any of this. This is free exposure and if anything this could be used as a strong argument to get rid of the open records BS that the U has to go through to hire a coach. Open records is a good thing but I believe there are exceptions to almost every rule and this is a prime example.

Absolutely. A full arena looks good on TV. Some of the past regional locations cough Green Bay cough had terrible attendance.
