In their case they are not the big boy in Atlanta but it is about media market potential that they offer. UND and NDSU simply cannot offer this. IMHO the chance of the Big Sky moving up in the current alignment is slime to none. If a split with the Big 5 happens then all bets are off.

True story. Success on the field carries almost no weight when being considered to move up to FBS. Money that can be generated from said schools media market is what matters. IMO not the best ways to do things but the reality is the Dakota's do not have those markets now or anytime soon.
