Come on man, now you are spinning this faster than a washing machine. The NCHC is a top notch hockey conference and anyone who knows anything about hockey will agree. Wisky and the Goofs are definitely true rivals. However, you clearly have not been to Magness Arena in Denver over the past 5+ years. The place was half UND fans and there and the atmosphere was awesome. They are a great rival whether you choose to accept that is your call. Miami will turn into a good rival as well and there are really no true bottom feeders in the conference. The hockey this year was great and we do play Wisky next season.

Okay, but that doesn't address the fact that we tried to get into the Summit for baseball, but no response from them. Then we get into the WAC and all of a sudden the talking points shift. Doesn't make sense. Also, NCHC is a premier league in the one sport they play. The creation of the Big 10 Hockey created an atmosphere where the lower budget schools in the WCHA had the voting power and UND and DU decided to make a proactive move and the addition of Miami and Western was solid IMHO. Also, if NCHC wasn't legit, Notre Dame wouldn't have taken months to decide between NCHC and HE.

Honestly I would probably contribute more if a study was done and a plan was put into place to move up years down the road. With all of the talks of potential moves the big 5 conferences may make, it seems to make sense to at least look at possibilities. I fear FCS will eventually look like D2 and I do not want to be late to the party again. I have said this before but I believe all four Dakota schools should have been FCS 20 years ago.

You are probably right on here. Doesn't U of M have a monopoly on D1 in Minnesota? For some reason I remember chatter about schools in MN other than the U not being able to move up to full D1. I could be wrong here though...

I am hoping Cedric Simmons lives up to what I saw in his recruiting videos. The running game needs to improve and hopefully the O line will play will help with this. Other than Simmons we have Shaugs (short yardage), Sharp (unproven) and Garmin.

I am only going to comment on what I know. What I do know is that most of the bizun fans who were over here in mass were completely wrong and all of a sudden things calmed down once the facts we already knew were confirmed. I will not speculate what could have been said over phone calls. Have a nice weekend.

Your AD is assuring the game will not happen so what are you worried about? At risk of repeating myself, there is not a bunch of UND fans on your board trying to preach the holier than thow word like you and a few other bizun fans here. I know some here want the game and there are some like me who are good either way. We are simply debating among ourselves the facts that have come to light. Nobody here is demanding that the game MUST be played, but rather it would make sense for non-conference matchups. That said, if the game is not played nobody here will lose any sleep. We are in a great conference with a full schedule. Our football program will steadily improve and I really think this has you and your buddies worried.

This many trolls on here trying to spin their talking points seems to be coordinated. Is there the same contingent of UND fans over on bville doing this? I am not going to look because I will not go over there. Why? Because I do not care! I am not for the game, but at the same time I am not against the game. You trolls talk all high and mighty but the fact that you are over here trying to argue your point about this tells me that you all care and want this game to happen. You will not sway any opinions over here. Trying to do that is like trying to argue with an environmentalist about global warming. No win situation. We will not take a crappy one game deal. The home and home with Weber effectively killed any prospects of a one game deal.
