PCM...there's your headline...

I took my daughter to Ann Arbor for auditions about two months ago...Travel time from fargo to chicago (Northwestern) taking i-94 all the way - exactly 10 hours...it's about 4 hours more to Ann Arbor...from there, you're on your own...(go south)....

I bought my airline tickets months ago for like $350 or something like that...hotel and tickets...I guess the sioux being there is just a huge bonus for me now...it wouldn't have bet my tickets on it four weeks ago...what has happened??? It's truly like someone hit a switch..ever since duluth...wow...I'm ecstatic... I was very disappointed with the ref'ing in the first period, not because the sioux didn't do the deed, but because BC was getting away with so much..a hook across the neck on I think Fabian...etc., etc., ad nausium... But the Sioux, to their credit, played thru it and put it to BC and took fewer penalties as they controlled the game. Sure, the gave up a couple, but the intensity was there the entire game...Zajac blocking shots with five minutes left up by 4 proves they played the whole game... Anyway, enough rambling... Go Sioux...I can't wait for Columbus... Rex...

Even tho I hate them, I guess I'd rather have Howard out of there...plus, Maine made the mistake of the game and left Kaufman wide open and unchecked in front of the net.

I never do this, but I saw Matt Greene at Suite 49 on Monday night. I walked right over to him and shook his hand and told him that everyone is very proud of how the Sioux handled themselves last weekend. He was very respectful and humble and simply thanked me for my comments and that was that. It gave me a sense that these guys have their heads together and are not overconfident, but ready to play. Let's Go Sioux.

Mory00, your argument does not hold water with me or most other objective people. The fact is, most people agree with PCM - that his actions on and off the ice speak volumes on his character and the kind of person he his. And most conclude correctly that Paukovich is a goon. His coach knows he a goon and doesn't care. He adds an additional day on to the suspension, probably for show only (and likely at the request of the DU President). If Paukovich truly felt remorse, he would have shown concern for Robbie Bina before the spotlight forced him to do so. Instead, he laughs and jokes and insists that he didn't do anything wrong or anything to be sorry about. Mark my word, because he is getting a free pass for his behavior by people with your attitude, he will continue to be a goon and eventually, will be expelled from the college game.

Great minds think alot...but I have MN beating Maine and losing to Cornell. I think it's optimistic, but what are we supposed to think? Go Sioux!!!

I complimented the area operations manager for a carrying the games last year. I made my comments at a large public gathering a few weeks back and I know he appreciated the support. Hopefully he will be in our corner on this and will get it done if enough of us ask...

Heres a link to Cable One in Fargo. Everyone please send them a request to air the hockey games. Rex... Cable One Local Link

I'm just glad to see that Sioux are in...four weeks ago, we all felt that they were on the bubble and might not even make the tournament, so a #2 seed is pretty good and reflects the great strides the team has made. The preferential treatment given Minnesota is typical... They are a #1 seed....and I can dunk a basketball (5'9", 18" vertical)....What I saw of Ohio State and Michigan last night, MN better be ready...

Watching the Michigan - OSU game. Pretty fast, end-to-end action. Lots of penalties are being called, but they seem to be called evenly... Also, NH and BC are tied 1-1...

I must admit that I kinda laughed when I was reading the early posts on this thread. Sioux shouldn't play. Team doesn't care. Forfeit. These men that play for the Fighting Sioux are among the elite athletes in the world. Men of that calibre were raised on playing through adversity - it is how they arrived at this time, this game. They are not quitters. They are CHALLENGERS. And they are WINNERS. That said, it was a pretty good game, eh? Rex...

Hoping for the best for you Robbie. Get well soon.

Having to work is always considered a personal problem during the post season...
-
Sounds like a personal problem... I can't make St.Paul, but I'm driving to GF to be at Dagwoods at 2:30....be there or be square
-
That is correct...

Not much to add. I was at the game. Smaby is looking better and better and seems to be improving every game. It's like he is picking up on Greene. And Greene is just outstanding. Big, Strong, Tough and Mean...

He's post-madonna...she was braiding her arm pits before he was born....

Well, that was fun series to be at...sitting in Sec 208 with the Sioux fans was great. I'd say at least a quarter of the fans in the building were Sioux fans. The most amazing thing to me last night was when the crowd started filing out with about 4 minutes to play. I guess being the first out of the parking lot after the game is a real priority at JBSU. I noted that Schneider did not play. Anyone know the story? Did it have to do with his lack of disapline on Friday? Sorry if this was answered early. I talked to Andy Murray between periods on Friday night and he told me the Brady has a full upper-body shoulder harness AND a full leg brace. I was watching Murray during warm-ups last night and he looks like he has lost alot of weight. He's nowhere near 180. He probably can't lift right now and that's got to affect him. He's having surgery the day after the season ends (ok, two days after, since April 10th is a Sunday)

There's six of us going for both games...should be a blast. I'm not sure where we'll end up after the games, but hopefully someone will let us know...We're in sec 208 and will be cheering the sioux on, full throttle...
-
I'm pretty sure that was my exact point..."everybody" includes Sioux fans...

Too bad Brooks isn't here to talk some sense into the kid...I'll be honest, I wish he was coming to UND and I'm jealous as hell that he'd rather be a goofer or a stinking badger. I'm holding out hope that he was so impressed with the Ralph and the facilities here and the coaches, etc. that he plans to surprise everyone and go with the Sioux. What back-walking everyone would have to do on a note like that...too funny. Can't you just hear that dumb-s&!t Dubay bad mouthing the kid-currently thought to be the second coming
