  1. What about putting Malone with Watkins-VanVelde,replace a power foward with another. The Dot line if Toews leaves would have to be Trupp,playmaker-center. The Third shut down line would be Kaip-Radke-Hextall,very hard to play against. Forney is my break out player for next year.
  2. Fifty cents and your magic 8 ball will buy you a can of soda I guess will we see in the fall.
  3. LaPoint will we here next fall regardless of who stays and who leaves.
  4. I am sure the only way TheTriouxper will be offended is when someone calls him a rodent fan, other than that the fields wide open
  5. Nice to see your still lurking around #1Hakfan. We need as many true fans as we can on this site. Brian Lee seems very humble and and very shy but lots of talent.
  6. Thanks for chiming in there mister helper but they are listed on the depth chart as the #1 pairing, Bina-Finley as 2 and Genoway-Jones as 3. I wasn't talking about what order they were introduced
  7. I guess when they list Lee-Chorney as the #1 defensive pairing thats just hear say.
  8. He must have some talent to be part of the starting defensive pairing for the Fighting Sioux, but you probably know more the the Coaching staff with all your hidden talent.
  9. We go from a very heavy underclass roster to an upperclass roster with tons of playoff experience. Different players will mold into new roles and the Sioux just keep rolling. Is it October yet?
  10. People should be ashamed of themselves,Brian Lee is a Fighting Sioux and once he pulls the sweater on I for one will support him until he no longer wears it no matter what his short comings might be. Hakstol said in the press conference that the Sioux were pressing to score and that's why the BC player made it down behind the Sioux players,if Brian had quit like some have said why was he the only one making an effort to get back and try to prevent the ENG.Come on people support our team through good and bad lets not be fair weather fans.( there is nothing wrong with bringing up poor play or systems lets just not single one person out)
  11. David Toews is a Jr. this year so he would be an 08
  12. Nash to Cornell as per Heisenberg, dang he would have looked good in kelly green.Next
  13. Why Siouxman it sounds like you have an issue with Southpaw
  14. The Hrkac Circus hands down,Hrkac with 116 points, not 114(sorry Siouxman) Bob Joyce with 52 goals and Tony with 46. This line also switched wingers from Johnson and Bobyck during the season, seems like all the great line have two main parts and the third can be interchangable. Hrkac-Joyce, Panzer-Lundbohm, G.Johnson-Romaniuk,Parise-Bochenski and Toews-Oshie. How about best checking line? My pick would be Ulmer-Calder-Henderson from that 97 team.
  15. I see David Toews is leading Shattuck in scoring, hopefully we will hear about his verbal before too long.(fingers crossed)
  16. Fire helment guy #26 that is the only time I have felt sorry for a Gopher player and then to get a fighting major for receiving was salt in the wound.
  17. Up in Smoke
  18. I bet I won't make that mistake again with the spelling police lurking around on the board
  19. Imagine if you will what the 2009 Sioux could look like, Kristo,Chichy,D. Toews,Ness,LaPoint,Frattin,Landman,Genoway,Duncan and maybe Nash.
  20. I would love to see Hunter come back also. Someone should ask that question on the next coaches show,I can't because I work those nights .If someone in the know would be so kind to post if he could come back or maybe the way he left Hakstol maybe doesn't want him back.
  21. Funny reponse from Gordan,if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at.
  22. Maybe Nash and Kelly Zajac will reopen the recruiting.(if we land Nash)
  23. How about some Emu oil and chocolate covered strawberries
  24. I have no idea what goes through these kids minds but if you compare styles between Cornell and UND it seems like a no brainer. On USCHO in the Wisconsin recruiting section they talk about Saponari from the US development and Derek Lee from Salmon Arm deciding on Wisconsin and UND and a few other schools. If your a Offensive player who likes to freewheel and be a little creative why in the world would you want to play that trap style and systems that Eaves has imployed since he got there.Badgers fans keep spewing about how once Eaves has the horses his style would change, his horses have come and gone but his syle hasn't. I know that I have green glasses on but other teams fans have said the same thing.
