Good lineup,my reason for Davidson-Kaip-Zajac is to have another Red Pepper(grind) line that can cycle the puck and keep the opponents bottled up in their own end. Do you have Oshie at center or wing.

Zajac was Oshie's center most of the year I believe.

I think Oshie is a natural center and so is VV thats why I have them split up.

Lines for next year. Duncan-Oshie-Malone(Oshie and Malone do the dirty work and Hobey finishes) Frattin-Trupp-Forney (lots of talent hope they produce) Watkins-VanVelde-Kozek (Walkins and VV meshed well hope Kozek does as well) Davidson-Kaip-Zajac (checking line who can cycle like crazy) Defensive pairings. Chorney-LaPoint Jones-Genoway Bina-Finley(you just got to keep the odd couple together)

As far as game day rosters go Hakstol seems to run with three goalies,12 fowards and six defense, why not dress an extra foward or defenseman instead of the third goalie? This would help if someone gets injured during the game or doesn't perform that night.

I don't think even the Triouxper could say that with a straight face. On USCHO someone posted a long time ago about Goligoski having some issues with Pittsburgh. Playing with the "Next One" would suck

Another way to look at it is if Pittsburgh doesn't sign him now he can sit out for a few months and become a free agent and sign wth who ever he chooses. He would look good on the blue line with Martin in Jersey.

That would be a huge pick up for the Sioux. I bet Curious George will be a little peeved if it's true

I agree that you need to keep vandy and Watkins together,maybe add Malone or Zajac to that line.Trupp or Miller on the first line.

The quality of coaching would go down though

Live to play with himself you crack me up,Kozek is olaying a role he is not used to and playing hurt(off season surgery),Miller is basically a Freshman and I am sure you have never seen Malone play. Being a Sioux fan,if you really are you can be critical of plays but you really should support all the Sioux players not just the ones you deem worthy. I for one hope all the players come back and Finley and Lee even come back for their senior years.

Martos only knock was his size,the kid can flat out skate and has decent hands.

What about putting Malone with Watkins-VanVelde,replace a power foward with another. The Dot line if Toews leaves would have to be Trupp,playmaker-center. The Third shut down line would be Kaip-Radke-Hextall,very hard to play against. Forney is my break out player for next year.
