It's nice that people know what Jost and boeser are going to do. Hakstol was stern and a disciplinary but Berry was a players coach. Maybe Hakstol should have a lesson with Berry on the stare. This team takes bad penalties, plays soft out of position and takes all kinds of shifts off. The coaching staff has the responsibility to right these issues not coddle these players.

Ok fine ,I believe this team is better then fifteen wins ,in a one and done maybe they play to their potential.

You need to get there first and as UMD has shown anything can happen.

Hockey is also the only sport where one person(the goalie) can effect the outcome no how bad or how good your team plays.

Berry was here for some of those second half surges , Hakstol had issues but he had that part figured out. Things were easy last year with all the talent he was left with now it's Berry's turn to figure this out. The next man up isn't working this year for some reason. A lot of players are in positions or situations where they are not comfortable or are not going to succeed. The next six games are almost must wins.

Hopefully Gage is not out long term but maybe sitting a couple of games he can regain the way he played the previous two years. Simo and Olson can be replaced by Gornall and Smith as far as I am concerned, figure skaters that do nothing for or with the puck.

I think our real problem is the quality chances we have been giving up and very, very poor special team play. You don't have to score five a game to win if you tighten up in other areas. Other year with Jackson coaching the kill it's been lights out, this year not so much. Special teams is effort and out working the other teams.

Is anyone else a little disappointed in our captain? Seems to coast back for pucks and then has to make a play with a person on him. If he were to hustle ala that second goal might have not happened. Lead by example.

David Hale did it against Mankato and as he went down the tunnel he told the team to finish this and they did.

I agree with the line up changes, didn't seem to make sense. He leaves simonson in who has zero points and absolutely panics with the puck. Then we have our captain coasting to pucks and trying to make big hits after he gives up possession, get to the puck first move it and skate down ice.

Gornal should play over simonson. Ausmus had stetcher the last two years, now he coasts to pucks and gives up possession.

The captain should not be in the top four D he has been brutal. #10 should not be playing at this level my god he panics with the puck and it's high off the glass and loses possession.

Berry, Jackson and Shaw need to shore up the special teams first off and this team will be fine, if you can't score on the pp you better be able to kill them off. maybe it's time for more line up changes, #10 doesn't seem to be able to compete this year at this level and he sure cannot put the biscuit in the basket but that is true with a lot of this team. The one poster was right you can not win the championship in oct, nov or dec but you sure could lose it.
