One incident does not destroy a season , lots of players took games , hell weekends off. Nothing explains how bad Friday nights were, maybe there was issues but that doesn’t explain the lack of drive from this team.

The goal is to out score the opponent , maybe Adams and Hoff are not quite as good on d but at least they have some puck skills. My fear is forwards will be turned off to Berry’s style ala Mike Eaves. I would blame Adams or Hoff if they left for greener pastures. Yes I know You have to earn your spot and I have not seen anything that says Johnson should be playing forward in their place , put Olson back with simo and open up a spot for a forward.

Been saying this for awhile, the canned response is defensive responsibility. I always thought a team would have two scoring lines, one checking line and one energy line. I say put Simo, Olson and Smith as your checking line and use Bowen,Adams,Hoff, #25 and Yon to make up your energy line.

Been saying the same thing, you recruited them as forwards and playing a D man up instead.
