Speaking of UND players apparently Mike Commodore walks around the Carolina locker room in a robe and the team is going to sell it for charity. Also, to tie it in with the above comment, it was kind of nice seeing Zach, Mike and Hale playing on the same sheet of ice. The announcers made mention of the fact that They were from UND too.

Smaby is funny since he only has one more year here, he is a senior. I am sure Tampa would love to get Matt in the mix, he is a monster and would fit nice in TB plans. With their goaltending they might need some big monster d-man in front of their net. I would be willing to bet that Stafford is mulling over an offer or is talking to Buffalo in some manner, personally I can't understand why anyone in Drew position would want to go and sit in the AHL since their team is loaded with good young players.

So does anyone have clue what UND schedule is going to be next season? I can't find it any where as of yet.

I think I would have to agree with this observations. I think this team exceded expectations, they were a bubble team before the WCHA playoffs, and they answered the call. UND was a young team this year and took its lumps along the way and got better at the end of the season and made the Frozen Four, they also did get a few breaks along the way. I think realistically speaking getting to the Frozen Four was a nice surprise, for me any way. I think this team is built for the future, We had a couple of players Watkins and Kozek that are just starting to reach their potential. The Fighting Sioux also has a very young defense, that will get better. The possibilities for this team is scarey good. Look at Wisconsin they were a veteran team that gained experience with four years of Mike Eaves systems. Hak really can't be evaluated until he has had four years of his recruits. So far it looks pretty darn good and promising. Also, the last two years Eades has been an assistant the special teams have improved drastically as well as defensively under Brad Berry. While the sting of losing is in the minds of the fans imagine how the players probably feel, this experience the last two season should give them enough motivation to during the off season to be more focused next season. This season we had two players that still should have been High School seniors. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I can only imagine what some of these kids can do after a summer in the weight room. Yikes the opposition will come to know this team very well in the next couple of season.

Yep, however, you are one of a few people that can chear for other teams around the league, I can not, nor can I even phantom cheering for Wisconsin, DU, Michigan or Minnesota on a regular basis. I cheer for UND and BSU only, and cheer for whoever is playing against the Goofers. Welcome aboard.

Hale has looked pretty good in the games that I have seen him play recently, I hope he continues to do well and play in the line up on a day to day basis. Lou will make the right decisions.

I don't think the Univerisity should Fire Hak, the team went further than I invisioned. I would say the program is pretty strong and going in the right direction. Calling for Dave's head is a little premature to say the least. Lets play some golf and relax. Before you know it, it's going to be hockey season again and Ducktober.

I like that statement. Great post dude... I think this team is going to do some serious damage in the WCHA. The only thing is next season we will be playing with a bullseye on our back along with the BADgers.

I am not so sure that it so far out of line, and pretty common with the Military, and the Service Accad. are hard to get into. Depression is one of the things that can disqualify you from Military Service, I am not saying its right wrong of indifferent, however, I know that it can keep you out of the service, I know a guy that was already in the Military at Boot Camp and but while they were conducting his back ground check found out that he had depression and might have thought about suicide once and was kicked out of the military. So who knows, the fact that this kid disclosed it up front and is healthy is a bit puzzling.

More on Zajac, seems there are a few that think the NJ Devils should sign Travis. I am not sure why the people in NJ and various Devils fans are in such a hurry to get Travis signed, the kid isn't going to be playing in the NHL right away. It's a pipe dream by some. IMHO Lou on signing or not signing Zajac

At this time of year I don't expect too much from the announcers since they do a majority of their work with the NHL and I think it is a case of them not spending too much time researching the teams out west. It was apparent during the broadcast that the ESPN2 crew was pretty pro B.C. no big shock there either. I am sure they will be getting to know the UND pretty well in the upcoming seasons.

Sr defenseman Andy Greene of Miami just signed with the NJ Devils. Now here is a guy that made all four years even under the new NHL CBA. I noticed the same thing in the regional. I think Drew came back from his injury too soon.

I guess we are missing it out here in the hinder land. I couldn't see Cory Starting over Parise if he was on the Sioux. Very Briggs like in my opinion.
