Game set and match. I agree, I just had someone call me a non fan because I had to stay home and parent my child. God the humanity. At a ripe old age of 8 months I am already socializing her to be a hockey fan. While I agree college is about the college students and them being rowdy I am sick and tired of being told us Season ticket holders don't cheer make any noise -- Barbra Streisand . That is just silly. The guys I go to the games with cheer clap and yell at the refs with the best of them all the while the people around us sit in their seat not making a sound.

When someone makes a stupid comment about me not being loyal that is just silly.

I went to the first two games and watched the last one at home because I had to stay home with the baby. I don't think there is anyone more loyal than me. I have left late for hunting trips to go to a hockey game.

NO, the reffing didn't cause the win, however, that being said, I am also not the only one that was disgusted with the way the series was called/reffed. I am saying that if the Goofs had last this weekend a lot of them would have actually been more upset with the officiating. I think it was also no coincidence that Shepturd was the official this weekend. If not why didn't another ref call the games this past weekend maybe say Mason? Is this black helicopter material, sure call me a conspiracy theorist, I do have a major in Sociology and Criminal Justice. AZ, I am sure you watch the NHL; wouldn't you rather have the refs call the games like they are in the NHL? Maybe we keep some of the first round draft choices JUST a little longer.

I would be willing to bet if your team had lost the game your fans would have been calling for Shepturds head. Take of your brown and yellow goggles for once. It was pretty obvsious from an outside fan what happened this past weekend.

What I am sick and tired of is the league catering to tDon Lucia and the Golden Gophers. I would have went to vegas and bet the farm that UMN would have Greg Shepherd as the official for this series. Its a joke. If I was coach Jutting right now I wouldn't have slept a wink last night. That wasn't hockey. That was a travesty. I just hope I didn't spend another 150.00 to witness this crap next weekend.

That is well said. Actually if you were an offensive player in football and you did some of the stuff that has taken place on the ice you would be flagged 10 yards for holding.

Well time to enjoy some good hockey. Hopefully we will see a little more offense and a little less defense. Teams: Sioux, Huskies, Tigers, Pionees and Goofs.

Dean Blais would be a great league commish. I think an NHL guy should supervise the officials.

No that's not what I said, I I said nothing about the goal, I said that the reffing was poor in this game and Shepherd purposely let it go when he shouldn't have. Even the two television announcers said he is going to have to call penalties. Sheppard reviewed the goal to cover his ass. I still think the refs in this league have done the fans a horrible disservice and need to be fired all of them except Thul.

From what I say no, because Shepherd didn't want to give the Mavericks a PP that would have given the Mavericks a chance to win the game. The league was crapping its pants in fear that Minnesota wasn't going to be in the final five this season. After this weekends game Sheppard should be fired he is a Horse S!** official. It is lucky that someon didn't get killed out there tonight.

Kind of makes you wonder if the WCHA teams are currently dying on the vine, there probably won't be 6 teams in this year. I think Wisconsin is going to be out too.
